Lake & beach fishing Enjoy your days at our pretty fishing lake, which is stocked with carp (we even have some 30lb whoppers!), perch and roach, among others. To fish at our lake you’ll need a rod licence plus a day ticket which is available for £5 per day or £20 for 7 days. Sand le Mere overlooks Tunstall beach, which is a great setting for sea fishing; so good that it’s the venue for the European Open Beach Championship for 2013 and 2014, which is the largest competition of its type in Europe, if not the world. As part of our environmental policy and conservation schemes, all booking confirmations, payment reminders and acknowledgments will be sent by email wherever possible. Dogs are only permitted in ‘Dog Friendly’ caravans (maximum of 2) and must never be left unaccompanied in the caravan; extra charge applies. We do not accept group bookings. The maximum number of people occupying the caravan/lodge must not exceed the number of stated berths. All prices featured are inclusive of VAT at the current rate, the price of your holiday will be adjusted if the VAT rate increases. Cancellation protection plan When making a booking you will be offered the option to take out our Cancellation Protection Plan which covers you and your holiday party. • £20 for 7 night stays • £12.50 for 3 or 4 night stays • £10 for tenting and touring breaks Our Cancellation Protection Plan covers you should you, or any other member of your party, be forced to cancel your holiday because of sickness, bereavement, redundancy or jury service. Please note: Sand le Mere’s cancellation scheme covers you until you arrive on park after which refunds cannot be given if, for any reason, you decide you leave early. You may wish to take out your own holiday insurance to cover this.

Payments can be made using a credit or debit card or by cheque/postal order (made payable to Sand le Mere Holiday Village). Please note a small charge applies for credit card payments. 50% of the total holiday cost is required to secure your booking with us. The balance is payable 10 weeks prior to your arrival.

If the Cancellation Protection Plan is not taken and you wish to cancel your booking no refund will be made. Completion of our cancellation form and proof will be required, by recorded delivery prior to the confirmed start date of your holiday. This will need to be as follows: • Sickness - Doctors Certificate • Redundancy - Formal notification • Jury Service - Court notification • Bereavement - Death Certificate Customers covered by our Cancellation Plan and complying with these conditions will be entitled to the following (less a £20.00 administration fee): • 42 days or more before holiday start date - Full refund of total fund received • 41-15 days notice before holiday start date - 75% of total sums received will be refunded • 14 days or less before holiday start date - 50% of total sums received will be refunded

Withernsea is a relaxed seaside town with surprising attractions (4 miles); Bridlington is a traditional ‘kiss-me-quick’ beach resort (29 miles), while Spurn Point (19 miles), Bempton Cliffs (35 miles) and Flamborough Head (36 miles) are beautifully scenic.
The Deep The Deep is just a 5 minute walk from Hull Marina and is close to the City Centre. It is one of the most spectacular aquariums in the world and an award winning visitor attraction that is home to over 3,500 fish including amazing sharks and rays. Distance: 14 miles
