PTO INVOLVEMENT
Our parent community is extremely active. There are numerous PTO sponsored events throughout the school year. Visit our website for a full list of PTO sponsored events. Hawk Air is a virtual school wide experience engaging students in the study of other countries’ culture, climate, history, geography, arts, music and food. As a school, we transform the building to represent the country and have the amazing opportunity to travel to the country as a community. Science Fair immerses students in the Scientific Process. Students create an experiment using the Scientific Process and use 21st Century skills including collaboration, inquiry and information literacy.

COMMUNITY SCHOOLS - “THE HUB” We offer before/after school child care for our students at Hygiene. This program offers a variety of enrichment opportunities in addition to homework help. We are open from 7:00-9:00 a.m. and 3:35-6:00 p.m. every day. Please contact Kristin Davis at davis_kristin@svvsd.org.
100 MILE CLUB
Hygiene believes in rigorous movement throughout the day. In addition to regular movement within the classroom, we offer the 100 Mile Club for students and staff. This is an opportunity to promote movement by tracking the number of miles traveled throughout the school year while building a sense of community. Students run in the morning before school starts and several runs occur throughout the school year.
