We are beginning again a project we have not done in 25 years!
The Indian Wells Valley Airport District Special Events Committee and The Swap Sheet will create and pay for a cookbook which we will sell for a nominal cost.
When we did it 25 years ago, the kids wrote, told and drew recipes that were their favorite foods and we asked the teachers that it be “in their own words.” They were pretty funny. Did you know it takes a mile and a half plus one teaspoon of cheese to make “macrooni and cheez”?
Monies collected will be shared by all the participating schools on an equal basis.
