Life is essentially a play of the five elements of nature; Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Space.

Every physical aspect that we observe around us is a manifestation of these fundamental elements.

This phenomenon has been observed across cultures and varied geographies since time immemorial.

Described as Wu Xing in China, Empedoclean in Greece, and the Pancha Bhuta in India, these concepts draw parallels between human perception across the globe.

This book is an attempt to observe and showcase the subtleties of the presence of these elements around us through a presentation of the 26 letters of the English alphabet.

Earth nourishes Cultivates wisdom Conquers identity Conditions growth Above all Keeps us alive Sometimes merciless, Bound to new life Be aware of Earth, For, one can transcend one’s own limitations

WATER

Water hydrates Provides clarity Purifies souls Pervades doubt Above all Keeps us alive Catastrophic when wild Rejuvenating when calm Become the nature of water For, it can make you see things the way they are

AIR

Air breathes life Heals doubts Hones change Harmonizes living Above all Keeps us alive Displacing the present, changing the norms Move with air, For, it will make you realise who you are

SPACE

Space stays Demands effort Drives questions Determines nature Above all Keeps us alive A void of emptiness, Also the place of birthing Surrender to space, For, it helps the self become existence
