AT YOUR WORST

The L ORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.

PSALM 28:7

We are all human . We have good days and bad days . There are days when we get mad at situations, yell at those we are close to, and get upset . We cry, we make others cry, and sometimes our days can just spiral out of control . But I’m here to tell you, God still loves you! When these days happen, close your eyes and picture Jesus holding out His hand for you and giving you a hug, l etting you know that you are loved! Jesus lived on this same earth you walk on and knows pain and struggle, just like you . Our God is a compassionate God and just wants you to walk with Him . Even on your worst days, when you can’t see the light, He is there! All you have to do is call upon Him . Often we turn to other measures to fill the voids and make us feel better, but the only thing you need is God . Let Him work in and through you! His mercies are new each morning, so stay faithful! Let Him heal your wounds and renew you! Let the pain, anger, sadness all of that and more be replaced with the love He has for you . God sent His only Son to live on earth and die for us all . He loves you, and even if you feel you don’t deserve it, you do!

GO FOR IT!

Next time you are at your worst, give yourself grace and call upon the One who is always by your side— Jesus! Know that you are loved no matter what. When you feel things are out of control, instead of trying to fill the void with something else, fill it with the love God has for you. That’s what your soul needs!
