"Oneofmygreatestpleasuresasan artististotaketimewithdepictionsof nature.Thereisnoshortageofinspiration tobefoundinwhatliesbeyondthisconcretejungle,intothegreatwidegreen spacesfilledwithcountlesslivingthings,” explainsBranchaud,whohasbeenproducingnewpiecesexclusivelyforthisexhibit.
“InthisventureIamremindedofallthat
connectsustoeverybeing,beit floraorfauna,andIhumble myselfbeforeit–asapenitentin thesacredchapelofthisearth. Eventhesmallestandsimplestof creaturesgivesmejoytobringto lifeoncanvas,asifinpreserving themthereImightpreserve somethingofthemforposterity,” addstheartist,whoisknownfor therealismandenigmaticcompositionsonherwork.
