Introducing the 2020 Awards Finalists

The business world is full of hugely talented and successful women who not only run businesses, or work in demanding roles, but often also juggle caring responsibilities at the same time. This year, more than ever, has seen many women working heroically to support their families as well as running their businesses.

We understand the positive impact on women of recognising and celebrating their successes, so what better than to create awards to demonstrate this to the wider community.

The Successful Women Awards were born in 2018, which makes this year our third of celebrating the success of so many. Having launched this year’s awards at our Conference in March, we took the decision to go ahead with the nomination and application process, in the knowledge we were unlikely to be able to hold our ceremony on 5th June, due to the pandemic gripping the world. Despite my desire to hold out for a ‘real life’ event, it’s really important that we celebrate the fabulous finalists’ achievements while still in 2020.

You’re likely to be reading this just ahead of our virtual award ceremony on 9th December. I’m really excited that we can celebrate so many wonderful finalists, all of whom are winners in our eyes.
