WELCOME

to our full-time course guide for 2013/14

The College offers the widest range of full-time courses in the area with a mix of learning and training; preparing students both for employment and for university study. We offer excellent success and progression rates Come to us and you will be joining one of the top five Colleges in the South West*. Our industry-standard facilities – including engineering, plumbing, hospitality and catering, hairdressing, beauty and art and design - make us the first choice college for those considering vocational (work-related) courses. I am also pleased to announce that we are building new purpose-built facilities for our popular brickwork and plastering courses which will now be delivered on our main campus at North Star as from September 2013 in a new Construction Centre. At Swindon College we put students first. We are large enough to offer a full range of courses and facilities and small enough to care about individual students. All students have the benefits of a personal tutor and highly experienced, professional teaching staff. We offer a range of courses at different levels. Many of our students enter further education programmes, achieve and then progress on to full-time higher education courses here at the College or at universities around the country. Swindon College offers full-time HE courses at HND/C, Foundation Degree, Degree and even Masters (postgraduate) level. The College wants to ensure that you find the right course for you and our specialist Student Services team is here to assist you with your decision. You will be fully supported during your course and in every aspect of your time at Swindon College. We look forward to seeing you!
