* 1976. After a series of successful short films, including SWAPPED winner of the 2003 Swiss Film Award – Best Short Film, Pierre Monnard made his feature debut with RECYCLING LILY (2013). He then directed awardwinning TV series such as WILDER, NEUMATT and OFF SEASON. His feature-length NEEDLE PARK BABY (2020) became one of the great successes of Swiss cinema and was voted Best Film of the Year by the Swiss Film Journalists. BISONS is currently in post-production.

written & directed by Nadège de Benoit LuthyPauline juggles life between her kids and her work as a landscape designer where she has to fight for her place amongst her male colleagues. Her life is turned upside-down when her mother tells her that she is going to live abroad and will no longer be able to take care of her children, then becomes chaotic when she is appointed manager of an important project. On all fronts, her life takes a turn for the worse. Will Pauline be able to bounce back, assert herself and find her place?

* 1977. Nadège de Benoit Luthy has a degree in Film from École cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL). Her diploma film PETIT(S) CADAVRE(S) PERSONNEL (2003) was selected for the Locarno Film Festival.
MÉNAGERIE INTÉRIEURE (2007) was awarded the prize for Best Swiss Short Film at Locarno and SUMMER STORMS (2014) won the Best Screenplay Award at Evora’s Short Film Festival.

* 1985. She studied film and screenwriting at ECAL in Lausanne and at HEAD –Genève. Her diploma film THE GIRLS’ GRAVE (2012) won the Silver Pardino in Locarno. THUNDER her first feature premiered in Toronto in 2022.

* 1983. He studied film at HFF Munich. His first doc CHRIGU premiered at the Berlinale in 2007. It was followed by awardwinning features, among them EUROPE, SHE LOVES (2016), and 99 MOONS (2022) which premiered in ACID Cannes.

directed by Nicolas DozolDuring a graduation party, Angela, Alexander, Lily and Ethan, four teenagers in the midst of an existential crisis, are confronted with their angst. When the four of them find themselves locked up, they wonder if it might be their last night.
NICOLAS DOZOL
* 1998. Nicolas Dozol first studied dance at the Conservatoire de Lyon and then at the Rudra Béjart School in Lausanne. He then continued his studies in cinema at the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français (CLCF) in Paris, graduating in 2020. He directed several short fiction films, documentaries and advertising films. He particularly works on giving shape to imaginary experiences, and to trying new ways of filming that leads the audience to reflect on and question the world.

A modern relationship and emancipation story set in nineteenth century Alpine Switzerland: The musically highly gifted maid Elsie, who longs for a career as a musician, is forced into marriage with Jacob, a young stable boy who dreams of owning his own horse. Both have to learn that they can only escape their lack of opportunities if they team up.

KATALIN GÖDRÖS
* 1969. Katalin Gödrös is a screenwriter and director. She studied at the Budapest Film Academy. Her film MUTANTEN (2002) premiered at the Berlinale. SONGS OF LOVE AND HATE (2010) screened in Locarno’s competition. Recent works include TV series such as THE UNDERTAKER (2015 –2017) for Swiss national TV /Netflix. Since 2008 she is lecturer at various film schools, and since 2021 professor for directing at Internationale Filmschule in Cologne.
