foreword
To improve our services, we investigated new ways of promoting Swiss excellence in Singapore and the region by organizing interdisciplinary workshops, panel discussions and symposia on selected research and innovation themes, addressing stakeholders from a variety of horizons including the private and public sectors, academia and business. This year, our events included more art related events such as the Swiss artists-in-labs exhibition and performances “Lucid Fields” from the Zurich University of the Arts and the “Minimal Landscapes” exhibition and lecture series by scientist and artist Ariel Ruiz i Altaba, Louis-Jeantet Professor at the University of Geneva.
It is thanks to our sponsors and partners, as well as our colleagues from the swissnex network, that swissnex Singapore has become what it is today: a one-stop information and networking platform for students, researchers and high tech entrepreneurs from Switzerland, Singapore and the region. I would therefore like to express our gratitude and my sincere hope to further develop this collaboration in the near future.

outlook
“Jolie inspiration que celle de trouver la Suisse installée au coeur de
Biopolis à Singapour. On ne peut que souhaiter que le swissnex dans la cité-Etat fasse la même impression que le «Swiss Nest» au cœur de Pékin: tenir haut le nom de la Suisse! Meilleurs vœux.”
