Film issue Films are timeless. There is nothing quite like watching a movie that captures the attention of many with its thought-provoking scenes and emotionally-investing story lines. Movies transport viewers from one world to another all within a short amount of time. Effects, actors and actresses, as well as settings play a huge role in defining
the greatness of a movie or film. In this issue, we cover everything on films from the best movies of all time to books turned into movies. There is a certain magic that comes from a movie screen. Movies make individuals feel like they can be whoever they want to be and that is what is so appealing about them.

Books THAT ARE movies Percy Jackson Two of the six books have been made into movies, however there has been no word on if they are making any more. Book fans have not enjoyed the movies because they have not followed the plot line of the books at all. There has been a large decrease in book fans due to changes in the movies like Annabeth’s hair color, the cabins, the plot, and more.
Harry Potter Eight movies were made even though there were only seven books. The last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was made into two separate movies. Book fans are in general very pleased with the movies, however they have some issues with the character development of people like Ginny Weasley and Ron Weasley.
The Hobbit
The hobbit is one book made into three movies. Fans could not have been pleased more at this announcement. The producers spent on average 41 seconds per page in this 300 page book. There is very little criticism that has come from book fans. Some movie fans criticize the movies for being too long and having too many movies. There is a push back from Lord of the Rings, JRR Tolkeins more famous trilogy, because double the amount of time per page was spent on the Hobbit. There are some plot holes between the two series. The Lord of the Rings follows The Hobbit but the Lord of the Rings movies were made first. This has caused some conflict in character choices.
Chronicles of Narnia Three of the seven books have been made into movies. The producers skipped over one book in the series but they are planning on making a fourth movie. The script was recently made this summer. The books are a very complicated piece of literature but the movies have made them very simple to understand.
Enders Game Enders game is a classic. It was written in 1985 and was made into a movie in 2014. It is a dystopia where children are limited to 2 and the world is under attack from a group of aliens.

Shrek 2 Though it may not be as good as the first one, this sequel has proven to be loved by many. The reason? The adorable Puss In Boots. The cat along with other lovable characters, such as Donkey, attract many.
Toy Story 2 This sequel is so cherished due to its artistry and attention to storytelling. The new characters introduced are as likable as the old ones and the themes are deepened and developed greatly.
The Dark Knight Director Christopher Nolan’s genius lies in his ability to communicate a serious battle between control and chaos in this sequel. What really makes this movie is actor Heath Ledger with his earth-shattering Joker performance.
The Bourne Supremacy
The Godfather Part II
This sequel brings a sense of urgency and desperation. It is darker and more intense than the first, but that is why many love it. It has plenty of action as well as a great story line.
Part II of The Godfather rewrote the rules of what a sequel could accomplish. It deepened and expanded the original story beyond what any fan could have imagined. 15
