CarMover The CarMover is a floor system to move vehicles from one working bay to another. It is easy, fast, effortless and is designed to be done by only one technician. The CarMover, is composed of 4 plates and works on rails using one plate for every wheel of the vehicle. Each plate weighs only 8 Kg or 17.6 pound. By design, it is easy for the technician to move it from the end of the conveyor line to the starting point. Each plate’s load capacity is 700 kg or 1543 pound each. The CarMover plate is produced with a special aluminum alloy and with a special geometric structure, that guarantees no bending. The plastic connectors, on each side of the plate, permits the vehicles wheels to go up to the plate without any effort and without any slipping problems. The CarMover, permits one technician to move a vehicle by pushing it with an effort of only 12 Kg or 26 pound. The design uses special wheels and a special rail system where the point of contact between them is very thin, reducing the friction to a minimum, permitting a technician to move the vehicle using minimum effort. The CarMover works with two different type of rails, having the same performance, one inside the floor level and the other one above floor level. The number of rail positions is 5 per bay in Europe and 6 for North America, this allows the CarMover to accommodate every model and size of vehicle. Symach uses CarMover inside the FixLine conveyor in every new layout.


Moving Performance The CarMover allows one technician to move a vehicle using only 12 kg or 26 pound of effort.

Configuration The CarMover uses: • 4 Plates for every bay. • The rails position per bay are 5 for Europe and 6 for North America, because different length of cars. • Two models of rails: κκ Rail-In is inside the floor lever. κκ Rail-Out is outside the floor level. • Trolley for plates.

Plate Frame The plate is extruded with a special aluminum alloy, that permits a deflection of only 1 millimeter or 0.04 inches, under vehicle load, but always returns to original shape with no permanent deformation. Every plate has a no-collision system to avoid the technician pushing the car to far and damaging another one.

Plastic Connectors The two connectors per every plate, are constructed from an elastic plastic mix and with a specific geometry, that allows them to flex towards the floor to facilitate the go up of the car wheel onto the plate and returns to the original position as soon as the wheel is over.


Tempered Steel Wheel The CarMover wheel are made with bearings and with a self-centering system on the rails.

Rails Out The rails over the floor level are constructed from metal section with a specific design and are easily installed on the floor and secured with anchor bolts. The rails protrude over floor level by 2 cm or 0.78 inches and have ramps on both sides to help wheels and pedestrians pass over them. Rail in The rail inside the floor level are constructed from metal section with a specific design, are installed inside the floor level and also can be installed inside the grid of the spray booth and the preparation bay.
