The ModulLight is an overhead lighting system specifically designed for body shops, as it defines the working area and is positioned over the vehicle, it produces an excellent light beam on the vertical side of the car as well the horizontal side. The ModulLight uses the Symach Powerlux light. One Powerlux light produces the same quantity of light as three conventional lights, this is because it uses a specific reflector designed by Symach, that concentrates the light beam with a limited angle to cover only the vertical and the horizontal sides of the vehicle, without any dispersion of light everywhere in the warehouse. The Powerlux light has also the peculiarity to produce light colored to 5200 Kl°, the closest to sunlight and it is perfect for pointing out defects during the painting process. Powerlux lights allow technicians to repair vehicles in an easy way without missing any small defects. The ModulLight is a modular system and is a “plug and play system”, every light is automatically connected with the next one, this drastically reduces the traditional cost of the electric plant. The modular system is also used as the channels to connect many different points of the electric plant and compressed air. The ModulLight is also the frame that suspends the Flydry robot, this luxury design is finished off with a front band covered in Symach’s CoverTop, ABS plastic panels available in 8 different colors.
Light Performance The ModulLight using Powerlux can offer superior light performance in intensity, reaching an average of 1300 – 1500 lux on the vehicle and also in color quality of 5200 Kl°, the light closest to the sun color. The Powerlux has a new and exclusive reflector that focuses the light beam with an angle that cover the vehicle from the roof to the vertical bottom side without any other dispersion. This new light reaches a quality and power superior to every other light in the market.
Plug and Play System The ModulLight is a modular system and every element of light is connected with the other one, with a specific plug and cord, this system offers light and an electric plant all in one, with this product the conventional light plant is not necessary.
Configuration The ModulLight is a modular system that outlines every size of work bay, there is a modular element with 2 lights in parallel and another modular element that has only one light.
Frame The ModulLight frame is metal and is powder coated white, the frame is a modular system of 2 meters or 6.6 feet long and 40 centimeters or 16 inches in width.
Frontal Band The frontal band of the ModulLight is made of “CoverTop” panels, made in ABS injected plastic mold, can be opened and closed, allowing to install the electric plant or compressed air plant.
Installation The ModulLight modules are connected one to the other with a specific connector, they are suspended over the work bays and the installation is designed with chains coming down from the ceiling.
