Aunty Nami’s Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients: 3 cups Flour 1/2 tsp Baking Powder 1 cup Butter 1 cup Peanut Butter 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1 cup Sugar 1 cup Brown Sugar 2 Eggs
Directions: 1. Sift flour & resift 3 times with baking soda. 2. Cream butter & add sugar & brown sugar. Mix until soft & well-blended, but not fluffy. 3. Add eggs, peanut butter, & vanilla. Mix thoroughly. 4. Stir in flour & knead in bowl only long enough to form a smooth dough. 5. Shape dough into small balls. Press each ball with the tip of a fork to form a criss-cross design. 6. Bake at 300 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Do not burn. Notes: From Aunty Jeannie...”This was her favorite recipe to bake & give to people.
