Steamed Salmon
Ingredients: 1 piece Wild Fresh Salmon 1 piece Ginger 1 bunch Green Onions Oil Shoyu
Directions: 1. If you don’t have a long steamer, you may do it in the microwave. Place the salmon on a dish & cover it with saran wrap. 2. Cook for 3-5-7 minutes, depending how large it is. For a 1/2 pounder, it should be about 3 minutes. If it still looks raw, then put it on another minute. 3. Julienne a piece of fresh ginger & a bunch of green onions. 4. After the fish looks cooked, drain the water from the plate. 5. Pour shoyu over the fish to coat & a little more for gravy, then place the ginger & green onion on it. 6. Heat up some oil till it begins to smoke, turn off the stove & pour the oil over the green onion & be careful for it will sizzle. Pour the hot oil carefully. 7. If you like Chinese parsley, you may garnish the top of the fish with it.
