Aunty Leachie’s Wiki Apple Cake (Schneller Apfelkuchen) Ingredients: 125g Sugar 125g Butter 3 Eggs 200g Flour 1 pck Baking Powder 1 el Milk 1 Lemon Topping: 700g Apples Pinch of Powdered Sugar
Directions: 1. Mix butter, eggs, & sugar. 2. Add baking powder to flour & mix thoroughly. Grate lemon. 3. Add mixture to batter, add lemon & mix well. 4. Butter tarte form & pour batter into form. 5. Peel apples, remove seeds, then cut into quarters. Spread apple quarters on batter. 6. Bake at 175-200 degrees Centigrade for 40-50 minutes. 7. Remove from form. Sprinkle powdered sugar after cake has cooled.
