Frequently Asked Questions about the FastTrack Program I attended another school, will you accept my credits? If the institution is accredited by a regional accrediting body, classes with a “C” or better can be accepted. How many credit hours does it take to get into the FastTrack Program? You must have earned at least 45 credit hours of academic credit to enroll in the FastTrack program Will you accept military credits? Yes; however, they may require review and conversion. For more information, please contact the FastTrack office 256761-6112 Can I complete the program in as few as 18 months? The FastTrack Accelerated Degree Program is designed for students who have prior academic history of at least 45 credit hours. However, the tenure of your completion depends on your entry into the program. If you enter the FastTrack program with several transferrable credits, you may be able to complete the program in less than 18 months. If you have not completed all of your general education courses, your completion may exceed 18 months.
If I live out of state, can I be a part of FastTrack? Yes; the FastTrack Accelerated Degree Program is totally online. Is financial aid available? If are enrolled in the FastTrack program, you can apply for federal student aid FAFSA. The school code is 00104600. Is FastTrack accredited? Yes; all programs offered by Talladega College are accredited by Southern Association of College and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). If I am a former student at Talladega College, can I complete my degree through FastTrack at Talladega College? Yes, if your major is offered through the FastTrack program. If I went to school a while ago, can my credits be accepted? If you can provide an official transcript, we can accept most credits from classes with a grade of a “C” or better from an accredited institution. I am not able to get my official transcript because I own another institution, can I be admitted into the FastTrack program? We are able to advise and coach you from an unofficial transcript; however, an official transcript is required to be admitted into FastTrack.
