Napa Valley... is Waiting For You More than 400 wineries dot the fertile soils of Napa Valley, one of the world’s premier viticultural regions and famous for its prized Cabernet Sauvignon. But wine, as visitors quickly discover, is only the beginning. Stay in lavish resorts, charming bed & breakfasts or modern hotels. Find top-rated chefs at scores of restaurants who work alongside the farmers who tend this land. Take a hot air balloon ride or taste the bounty of the valley on a wine tour. Whatever your pleasure, the result is something understated and exceptional. Welcome to Napa Valley.

The Napa Valley enjoys a year-round average daytime temperature of 70° Fahrenheit

Welcome to Harvest Inn Harvest Inn by Charlie Palmer belongs to the historic St. Helena community, California’s pioneering winery center that has maintained the character of its heritage stone buildings and leafy cottage neighborhoods even as the wine business thrived over the last century. Drawing inspiration from the authenticity of St. Helena’s preservation, Harvest Inn also expanded accommodations while retaining its original charm and ambiance. Founded in 1975 with just 25 rooms in what is now known as The Grove neighborhood, over almost 40 years Harvest Inn added three additional neighborhoods, each with its own personality, designed to offer a different experience of vineyard life. Voted #3 hotel in Northern California by Condé Nast Traveler’s 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards, Harvest Inn by Charlie Palmer is an idyllic resort designed to celebrate the vineyard way of life, with 78 luxurious accommodations nestled into five uniquely crafted neighborhoods, two secluded swimming pools, and a plush spa with indoor and outdoor facilities. Surrounded by the lush landscaping of expansive clipped lawns and serene shaded groves, partially forested by towering redwoods, Harvest Inn also is home to gardens of agricultural botanicals. Although well situated in proximity to the hub of activity in historic St Helena, Harvest Inn offers picturesque privacy and a “let’s get lost” feeling of total relaxation. In classic California fashion, the architecture and land are in harmony, making Harvest Inn an integral part of the terrain. The distinctive mixing of heritage and modern style seen in the richly stained wood, leaded glass panels, and exterior stone as well as Tudor stucco with timber framing adds up to a storybook setting that is both rustic and elegant. As comfortable as it is beautiful, Harvest Inn welcomes both families and friends with its charming warmth and friendly ambiance.

Sonoma Golf Club At its heart, is a treasured “core golf ” experience set on 177 acres of rolling terrain highlighted by massive oaks, lakes and sweeping vistas of the Mayacamas Mountains and neighboring vineyards. You’re sure to appreciate how the balance and blend of long and short holes creates a perfect rhythm as you move through the round. Considered a fair but formidable test, unique challenges help keep you focused on the task at hand. We believe you’ll particularly enjoy the distinctive set of Par 3’s that offer a great diversity of aesthetic beauty and personal challenge. In fact, three of them are over 200 yards from the back tees. The back nine offers the intrepid golfer some extra excitement with the reachable Par 5 13th and 16th holes. The uphill 11th is a wonderful, short Par 4 followed by the lengthy Par 4 12th that is fairly difficult to stick in two. The finishing hole demands that you navigate a stretched dogleg with a prominent fairway bunker to a green guarded by huge oaks and fronted by a small creek. At the end of each round, you’ll know you’ve been treated to an unforgettable golfing experience. Just like the premier wines from the nearby vintners, the course has aged well. Sonoma Golf Club was the host of the Charles Schwab Cup Championship; the prestigious season ending tournament of the PGA Champions Tour from 2003-2009. Winners in Sonoma were Jim Thorpe 2003, 2006, 2007, Mark McNulty 2004, Tom Watson 2005, Andy Bean 2008 and John Cook 2009
