Recent Exciting Software Updates Improvements to Recipe Reports

Some formatting improvements have been made to increase the font size and consistency of the information displayed on printed recipes. The format will not change drastically, but a few defects have been addressed along the way. Updates have been completed in Production reports & Recipes at Scale, and up next is the Cookbook followed by the Recipe Reports’ Scaled Recipes and print preview.

Enhancements Coming Soon! Connect unknown Allergies (July 19th release)

When an Allergy is received through Connect and not mapped to an Allergy in MealSuite, the name of the Unknown Allergy will appear in profiles and reports as a safeguard. While this safeguard will not remove any foods from the menu of a person who has an unknown allergy, it will be a good reminder that Connect received an Allergy which is not known in our System and requires action.

Ability to forecast non-standard menus differently than your main!

Are your customers wishing they could forecast their Special Event menu, Also Available menu or Liquid menu by a different method than their Standard menu? We heard them! Different forecast methods will be able to be applied directly to these menus. In addition, these non-standard menus will feature the Forecasting tab to allow for adjusted forecasting percentages or total needed amounts directly on the Menu day view.

Request Vendor Product Links from Purchase Orders

If customres have a Food Item on their PO that is not yet linked to a product on their order guide, they will be able to request a product be linked right from their PO Cart. Once requested, MealSuite’s Nutrition Services team will review and approve their request, or send them feedback if the request could not be approved.

Electronic Order Guide Status update

If your customer is an admin user who holds ‘Procurement Settings’ under their role they will be able to check the eOG status and when it was last updated/imported. If the last import happened more than 9 days ago, they will receive an alert on the notification dashboard.
