Welcome From ANLPolled Herefords
Welcome
This year we would like to welcome the Nicholas families, McCoy Cattle Co, as new contributors to our Female sale. Our friends and family, Brooks Farms and Glenlees Farms both have another great group of females as well.
With Bonanza 2024 being in Brandon next year we have added a group of heifer calves that are right off the top end. Every one of them could enter the show ring but most importantly will go on to make a beautiful cow and herd builders for their new owner. We would like any junior to give us a call with their needs and we would be more than happy to accommodate as best we can.
Videos will be up prior to sale date but please feel free to visit at anytime. Our doors are always open for a great visit. Give any of the guys a call if there are any questions.
Note the sale is the 2nd Saturday in October this year
Karl & Karen LischkaTO OUR FOREIGN CUSTOMERS:
Arrangements pertaining to purchases must be made prior to the sale with each individual consignor.
From the Desk At T Bar...
Welcome to the ANL/Glenlees Polled Hereford Female Production Sale on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the ANL headquarters, Steelman, Saskatchewan. Along with Karl, Corey, and their families, they welcome their guests the Brooks Family and new for 2023, McCoy Cattle Co., the Nicholas family. This annual sale is a highlight event in the Polled Hereford Breed and the source for cutting edge Hereford Genetics. ANL is the home of the current Canadian Champion bull out of the famous donor “Jada”, while Glenlees is the home of world champions. Every program here is very competitive… simply because they are the “right kind” and good!
This is the most outstanding lineup of females assembled for Karls front lawn. With Bonanza being hosted by Manitoba in Brandon in 2024, more heifer calves… competitive calves have been added to bolster this event. The bred division is exciting with depth of quality to the very last animal catalogued. With fresh new genetics, early services and great numbers, this event offers unlimited opportunities for profit and excitement in years to follow. In this accelerating livestock market, exciting times lay ahead for those who have inventory. Replenishing the North American cow herd will take years and those in the seedstock industry will benefit. Now is the time to add to your established operations with fresh, new replacement genetics! Stop by any of these progressive breeders prior the sale and preview their offering or just give them a call. ANL/Glenlees is the event for the Saskatchewan Sweep Steaks and a must to attend if you are serious about breeding high quality cattle. Plan to be with us on October 14th whether it be in person, on the telephone or online and be a part of this exciting event. Feel free to call any of the T Bar Team for assistance in your selections and purchases… you can be assured that it will be handled in a professional and confidential manner.

This is the third year in a row that a daughter of Jada 115F gets to be Lot 1. Sired by TH Master Plan, a bull that has made some noise in the U.S. 95L is very sound in structure with the added depth and width of body, and tons of style. Very similar to her dam although she is maybe a little prettier fronted. You can’t go wrong with this one if she produces anything like 115F.

is a full sister to last year’s Lot 1 who was also our high selling heifer calf. She is a very complete package with a balanced set of EPDs. We have never worked with a cow that has bred with the consistency of Jada 115F.
If you are looking for a heifer to show and go on to make a productive female 15L would be a great candidate. She was Senior Heifer Calf Champion at the SE Zone Field Day. 15L is out of a very special two year old. This heifer will be entered in Agribition.
This is the first opportunity to purchase fresh genetics from TH Crown Royal 182H. 45L is big middled and wide hipped. She is also pretty fronted with an excellent set of feet and legs.

This soggy made brood cow prospect has a bit of a retro proven pedigree being sired by Absolute 49S. Absolute was marketed globally by Semex for years as well as working well for both O’Shea and McCoy breeding programs. His progeny have stood the test of time. 1L’s Excede dam is ideal in type being moderate framed, stoutly made, and good uddered.
This long bodied, deep sided Bonanza prospect has a bit more performance than what we have seen from the Bolder sire group overall. She has been an overpowering female within our 2023 heifer crop from early in life. The Impact daughters have proven themselves at both Crittendens and our place and expect 34L’s dam will do the same.

The Primestock progeny carry breed leading carcass genetics. Her granddam, 102D, is difficult to match in our herd phenotypically being a tank of cow with an ideal udder.
Bred May 7 to KCF Bennett Catalyst H472. Exposed to /S Momentum 0054 May 16 – June 15. Pregchecked safe to May 7 service. Carrying a heifer calf.
Not a heifer we wanted to sell but knew we needed to put our best foot forward with 2023 being our first offering for the ANL / Glenlees sale. This goggled eyed 9707 daughter will command your attention on sale day. An early service to Horizon is the icing on the cake.
Bred A.I. May 3 to SHF Horizon D287 H022 ET. Exposed to McCoy 81E Western 35J May 21 to July 22. Preg-checked safe to A.I. service. Carrying a heifer calf.

The Evolve sire group has exceeded expectations. This Evolve daughter is made right, possessing extra length and a bold hip shape. Backed by a strong cow family that produced one of our high selling bulls in the bull sale to Blair Athol. Maternal sister also sells as lot 55
Another Upload - Rimrock combination that worked really well. A maternal package that will turn into a great cow.
The first progeny from Ice Box to sell. We bought Ice Box with Golden - Oak from Sandhill Farm and he was there second high seller that year. This sire group is a real solid group. This female is a real maternal package and will develop into a nice brood cow.

Really like this Upload daughter. Nice fronted, soft middled and stout made. Her Rimrock mother is a beautiful patterned female. The Uma Lym cow family produce year after year.
The Reva cow family started here when we bought a group of cows from Bill & Leanne McConnell. Turns out that was one of the best things we have ever done. The Reva’s make tremendous cows and do a little winning in the show ring as well. This is a maternal sister to the 2021 CWA Champion Female. Attention daughters are really turning into top producing females. A maternal brother is working for Big Gully and Darren McNabb.

Terms
The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.
Certificate of Registration
Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Hereford Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.
Pedigree Estimates
Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such.
Health
All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.
Guarantee
Each animal becomes the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold. All animals in this sale will be sold under the terms and guarantees set forth by the Canadian Hereford Association with regards to health, freedom from defects and from both reproductive and specific genetic unsoundness.
Pregnancy Information
All serviceable age females have been pregnancy examined by an accredited veterinarian, giving an estimated length of gestation. This estimated gestation period shall be used only as a guideline to calving and is not a guarantee of actual service.
Liabilities
All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may, in exceptional cases, be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyer. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.
Delivery
Assistance will be given in getting your purchases home. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.
Phone, Mail, Wire Bids
Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone, wire or mail their bids and instructions to the sale manager, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that insurance is purchased for full value.
Errors
All announcements at sale time, written or oral, supersede any written material in the catalogue.
