Welcome to the twenty-first Annual Wilson Lees “Value Added” Bull Sale on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the Right Cross Sale Facility, Kisbey, Saskatchewan. These three-breeding operations come together each spring to present the best Polled Hereford bulls in the nation. This lineup is the most powerful and uniform group of bulls they have ever offered … if you cut the tags off, one would not be able to identify them and rightly so. Wilson, Lees and Lees are leading breeders and over generations have developed outstanding predictable cow herds … all using fundamental principles when sourcing the finest genetics and individuals to enhance herd quality every year.
This trio of breeders are competitive and have established records in competition … a couple of World Champions, a host of Agribition and Canadian National Champions and the Premier Breeder award at CWA for thirteen consecutive years. With that competitive nature, they feed on each other as they continue to add new genetics into their herds. Great cow herds, great cow sense … it’s what makes these bulls “Value Added!”
The offering is full of features and opportunities for purebred breeders, farmers and ranchers alike who need to add the necessary Hereford traits into their programs. Several members of the 2024 show teams are represented including the son at foot of the reigning Champion Female. You will appreciate the performance of the bulls… big weaning and yearling numbers yet in the entire offering you will find many “heifer approved individuals” for your replacement paddocks. Rugged with lots of muscle, wide of top, soggy, lots of testicles, hair and disposition. April 4th is an important day for all who want high quality Polled Hereford breeding stock. Feel free to visit any of these breeding operations any time prior the sale, they are not far apart. Wilson Lees bulls will be delivered free up to 300 miles at our convenience, considering load co-ordination. Further delivery will be at a cost. Every assistance will be made to get your bull or bulls in your yard. If you can’t handle your bull until later in the season, arrangements can be made with the owners. The four outfits from Wilson/Lees have been raising Purebred Polled Herefords for three, four and five generations. We know what works! Coon 23M is really the kind that will make a lot of friends. His quality sets him apart as quickly as his color and pigment do. He’s really the kind we like here. Stout and big barreled with a herd bull look. He’s got the right amount of bone and is extremely sound made. His mother is one of the oldest cows on the farm and still is beautiful uddered with perfect feet. Coon is the seventh bull out of 18B and all seven have been in the bull sale. Hetero Polled.
Hammer Down is a great name for this guy cause whoever bids last before the Hammer comes Down will leave the sale happy. Lots of power and growth, combined with a good look and pigment. These Excaliber’s have traditionally been very good, his Rimrock mom with add value to the daughters. This is one of our favorites, don’t miss him on sale day.

Glitz son that is a MEAT machine. He’s thick and deep and will add pounds to any program. Definitely the most popular calf around here all summer, he’s named “The Boss” for a reason. He covered some miles last fall getting to see the bright lights in Edmonton and Regina.

December born Patent son out of a VERY fertile Heater daughter. 91E had 2 calves in 2023, 5L was born Feb. 9th and 184L on Dec. 22nd. Let’s just say not all the fences at Blair Athol are steel. Even though 184L isn’t a true 2 year old, he does carry some extra age and size and should cover a few extra cows. This is the last group of Patent sons on offer, and if you’ve seen what the daughters are doing, you might want to be the last bidder.

Jethro 130M puts it all together. Every time I look at this bull I think of what Joe Goggins the American auctioneer would say about him, something like “He’s a Bull! He’s a real Bull!”. Hogan walked the pasture here in 2024 and cleaned up the AI cows. There will be several calves by him this spring and we should see the first ones before sale day. His May birthdate was one of the reasons he wasn’t available last spring, but the other reason was that we like him so well we needed to use him here. This guy is real impressive, Homo Polled, super stout and has a perfect hip and hind leg. Where he really shines is when he gets on the move. On video day my kids described him as majestic and said he floats when he moves. I agree, and I think you will too!!

Here is a bull that I think has a lot to offer. First off, he started out at 64 lbs. but since then he has not looked back. He’s a low birth high calving ease bull that is really big topped and stout made from behind. I really appreciate the head and character up front that he possesses. His mother did a fantastic job as a twoyear-old and had another low birthweight calf this year. The udder quality in this cow family is second to none.

This Final Print son has a lot to offer. First off, he started out at 70 lbs. and certainly has the look and build of a calving-ease sire. Love his head and front end and certainly has an abundance of shape and muscle down his top and from behind. This mating really clicked. His mother is a dark moderate framed female that is beautiful uddered and a direct daughter of Marvel 12B. Great spread from birth weight to yearling weight. He’s a 1.6 on the teat and udder and is Homo Polled. We would like to retain 100 doses of in-herd semen.

Maximus was alongside his mother last fall where she was crowned National Champion Female as well as a top 10 in the CWA Supreme. This bull is stout made with that extra body and substance. This bull will work in either pasture and provide great results. Heifer Approved.
Here’s a High Country bull that is out of our top donor 12B. This bull is high performing with a lot of length of body and a tremendous hip and stifle to him. If you like them Homo Polled, dark and out of a great cow family the be sure to study this guy. 43M was a class winner at Agribition.

Here’s a High Country that is very complete made and well balanced. I really appreciate the body and spring of rib in this bull. His mother did a good job on him as a first calver and bred back early. There’s a lot of good in this individual.
This bull is very long sided and a complete made individual. He has a lot of shape in his top and has a real good hip on him. His mother has an excellent udder and sure did a great job raising this bull as a first calver.
This is our only United bull in our offering this year. Like his sire he is big bodied, and stout made. If you like performance cattle with lots of hair put some check marks beside this guy.

Pavati 71M is the natural calf to the donor Robyn 44H. This bull has a lot of style and is deep bodied and extremely sound made. The females will be extremely impressive off this individual. A full brother sold to Diamond R Stock Farms two years ago. His maternal brother Haroldson’s Memphis 6L was used heavily here last year and the calves are looking fantastic.

Red Zone is a maternal brother to High Country 12K. He is very well balanced and can get out and move with ease. Really like the hair coat and color on this guy. Very functional individual out of a great cow family.
Take note of the age on this bull. I really like this Pavati son. He is a very sound made, proud bull that moves with ease. He’s big bodied and stout made. His mother is a beautiful young cow that has been extremely productive. His maternal sister was our high selling bred heifer last year to Harvey Duke. Don’t overlook this bull on account of his age.

Here is our only Baldie bull this year but he is a good one. He’s big bodied, stout and extremely sound made. His mother is a beautiful made, good uddered female who has been a bull making machine.
This big bodied hairy bull is sired by the two year old bull that sold to Watsons last spring. This bull is very complete made with a nice look to him. He is a sound-made individual with great disposition.
Maternal Brother Haroldson’s Pirate 50L
This National son is a full brother to last year’s feature bull that now resides at Hebert Livestock Ventures. This bull is big bodied and full of meat. Based on his mother’s production record she has now entered our ET program. Be sure to take a good look at this powerhouse.
Here’s a very stylish complete made Pavati son that was raised on a first calf heifer. This bull has a lot of shape to his hip and stifle and balances up very well. If you need a bull with some extra age to cover some cows, then take a close look here.

I really like this bull and considered keeping him to replace his sire for various reasons. The guy is dark (almost black) and full of pigment. He’s big bodied with ample muscle to him. It’s old school, but it’s dam good old school! No guess work here, buy with confidence!
Smooth made bull here with some added length of body. His mother is a sound-made cow with great feet, legs and a great udder. This guy can cover a lot of cows.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.
Bidding: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-bidding will be permitted. Disputes - Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all disputes will be final.
Announcements: All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures.
Breeder’s Guarantee: Should any bull fourteen (14) months of age or over fail to prove a breeder after being used on females known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six (6)months following the date of purchase or six (6) months after the bull has reached fourteen (14) months of age. The seller will have the right and privilege of six (6) months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze.
Exception Guarantee: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.
Certificate of Registration: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Hereford Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.
Pedigree Estimates: Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such.
Health: All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.
Liabilities: All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyer. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.
Rights and Obligations: The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.
Phone, Mail, Wire Bids: Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone, wire or mail their bids and instructions to the sale managers, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale.
Delivery: We will assist in arranging transportation wherever possible. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.
Insurance: Will be available sale day. We strongly recommend that insurance is purchased for full value.
Errors: All announcements at sale time, written or oral, supercede any written material in the catalogue.
