FEBRUARY
WELCOME TO OUR
2nd Annual Bull and Female Sale.
I first want to thank all of our past customers who have supported our program in our first years of raising Angus cattle. We can not have success if we don’t provide our customers with animals that make them successful. And what a time to be in the cattle industry! Recent record high prices have shown the need for growth in the cattle herd here in Canada, both in numbers and pounds per animal.
I believe our offering has what is needed for today’s cattle industry. From calving ease to performance enhancing bulls, we have you covered. The females come from proven genetics here on our farm. We don’t pamper our purebred herd; they run alongside our commercial cows, so you can buy with confidence that these cattle will go to work and perform in your herd.
Please do not hesitate to call about any questions you have on any of the sale lots, or even better, stop in to view the animals before the sale. We would be glad to show you our offering in person. If you can’t come before the sale, remember to come February 18 to view the animals before the sale and join us for some hospitality at 11:30 with the sale to start at 1 pm.
Looking forward to seeing you there!

Wade and his family have really stepped up and have become a very recognizable name within the Angus and Sim Angus industry. On the heels of a very good first annual sale last year, the quality and numbers have ramped up even more and we are proud to endorse this great program.
Elk Ridge has been a dominant force in acquiring some of the top females from across the continent in the past 5 years and continue to do so. Hence the spectacular bull pen. Every bull in this pen is backed by a superior mother and we strongly recommend you visit Elk Ridge to view this set of bulls.
Amongst being very calm natured, you’ll love the hip, natural muscle and landscape these bulls have. With as current of pedigree as any in the breed, there’s a bull here to fit your needs. Last year the sim angus portion was well received and again this year is a stout offering of pure 1/2 blood bulls.
This past fall at CWA, Wade and family raised one of the top selling Angus heifers at $31,500 to the famed Lindskov’s LT Ranch in South Dakota. That same female was picked from the same pen as the 18 on offer here this spring. Salty with all the fixings, we love this pen of heifers for you to grade.
These are exciting times at Elk Ridge, with the first calves of the $118,000 Alpine hitting the ground and multiple ET calves from promising donors. Wade and family are a pleasure to deal with so please contact any of us with info regarding the program and the sale.
