Bulls that thrive in the real world!
Welcome to Ward’s Red Angus 17th Annual Bull and Female Sale, March 1st, 2025, at the ranch, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. If you would ask those in attendance, why the Ward program? The common answer would be “we have been using Ward bull for years.” Over the last few decades, Clarke and Denise have done a wonderful job, raising a farm family and building an outstanding breeding operation in the Ward way. Their dedication to agriculture and the Angus breed is steadfast and an example for many to follow.
Each year the program gets bigger, better and more consistent in the values required by their many repeat customers. Birth weight, calving ease and high maternal values of milk with soundness and rustling ability are mandatory traits and those important factors are bred into the bulls and females offered. Rarely can one afford an open cow or dead calf at any time and in these market levels... even more.
The offering is solid whether it be Red or Black, bulls or females. You will love the muscle shape, soundness and bone of the Red Cockburn Copper sons, nice birth weights and lots of hair. While Red Six Mile Wick and his sire group virtually duplicate the shape and style of the Coppers. Eastondale Duplicate has added more performance without sacrificing calving ease. If you are a purebred breeder looking for your next predictable herd sire checkout the lineup... ranchers you will be treated to a uniform group of calving friendly money-makers. The Ward’s are hosting their open house, on February 15th and will have time to visit, show you the cow herd and discuss your breeding requirements. Feel free to stop by or just give Clarke a call. He loves to talk cows.
Plan to be with us on March 1st. to fill your breeding requirements. In this strong lineup, there is Red and Black Angus for all types of operations and budgets. If we at T Bar C may be of any assistance prior to or sale day, do not hesitate to call any of our team and we will be pleased to assist in a professional and confidential manner.

Wick 60H was used heavily again. He even found his way onto a few of our black cows. He has left an outstanding group of fall bulls, high-quality yearlings both red and black. Red Ward’s Magnum 25M, is a prime example of his breeding ability. The consistency in his offspring is very evident all combining the low birth to high growth with loads of rib shape and muscle.
Copper combines shape, calving ease, growth, with that dark red hair coat and strong dark foot. He consistently sires low birth and does not sacrifice growth. Another strong set of bulls on offer this year and a few top-notch females.
