CPlan to be with us for a very special day, Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the South View Ranch headquarters, Ceylon, Saskatchewan. This day is special as the Kaufman families present an awesome selection of Angus, red and black, to celebrate their 25th annual bull sale. In this anniversary year, the quality and uniformity of the offering has exceeded expectations… if are looking for bulls that will add performance and added value at weaning, the selection is genetically diverse, and suitable for all types of programs and budgets.

South View Ranch is a strong multi-generational family operation with a very large and predictable cow herd base. It is this base and their very large sire battery, that is responsible for this great lineup of herd bull prospects. Everyone has their chores and duties… although the family takes their vacation in November… a week at Agribition… and what a great week last fall was as the SVR gang showed their competitive nature capturing Reserve Grand Champion Female and several divisional titles… individuals that are features sale day. At this 25th anniversary, you will have the opportunity to purchase the exciting “Panorama”, the calf at foot of the 9-year-old Agribition Reserve Champion female… one of the most intriguing and powerful bulls to be offered this spring in Canada. In addition to the features list there is also “Covenant”, a power bull who was the Agribition Reserve Junior Bull Calf Champion.

Breeders and ranchers, we urge you to put SVR and April 3rd on your herd bull shopping list. Feel free to stop by the ranch and preview the bulls prior to the sale and view the mothers and their sires.

We, at T Bar C, are very familiar with this breeding operation and if we may be of any assistance prior to or sale day, do not hesitate to call any of our team and we will be pleased to assist in a professional and confidential manner.

the SVR standard

Cattle ranching isn’t just our business—it’s in our blood. With deep roots in the industry, Keith grew up on this very land before taking the reins and building what is now known as South View Ranch. Today, we proudly run 250 Red and 250 registered angus females, carefully selecting for eye appeal, structural soundness, and exceptional maternal traits, all backed by solid performance. Our mission is simple: to raise the kind of cattle that not only stand out in the pasture but also deliver profitability and longterm success for our valued customers.

Red Ter-Ron Judo 56J

His calves are stamped the same hair, muscle, and calving ease that are extremely easy fleshing. His daughters are very consistent with strong maternal instincts and good udders. We are very pleased with the production of his daughters thus far. Judo himself stands on perfect or as close to perfect of a foot you will find.

Red Lwnbrg Elimination 84J

Red LWNBRG Elimination 84J is a good-looking bull that always catches your eye. He adds growth and hair while still keeping calving ease in mind. He has tons of frame and shape. His calves come at a moderate birth weight with vigor, get up, suck, and grow. We are extremely pleased with the daughters off of Elimination that we have calved out. They have square udders and are very milky his daughters are some of our favourite first calf heifers. A unique sire with SAV Bismark, Predominate, and Rito 707 in his pedigree.

Red Duralta 167 Momentum 11H

They have plenty of jam while still maintaining a fancy look and have plenty of style. The replacement heifers we have in the pen are built the same, lots of muscle and shape with a good look. This is a long spined, good looking Portrayal son. Moderate birth weight, with plenty of performance. His dam is a good Hoss daughter off of the old productive machine 394Y.

CE: 

A bull that’s long, smooth, good looking, with some growth and calving ease, and a good coat of hair. Just a good, solid April born bull. His dam is the ideal angus cow, from every angle. She is feminine, super uddered, big ribbed, and sharp to look at. His Grand Dam 322Z was one of the best-looking cows to walk the pastures here to this day. You will want to keep all the heifers from this guy.

MAT SIB SVR McLaren 532J

If you are looking for a bull to add easy fleshing and perfect udders and powerful females to your cow herd, this is the bull to do it.
