How to Participate
1.Visit dlms.ca and follow the link to the DLMS Farm Gate timed auction site www. farmgatetimedauctions.ca, click the LOGIN/ REGISTRATION button. First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page. Fill out the registration form to signup for a free user account and it allows you to select a username and password for use on all Farm Gate Timed auctions. This program will send you text and email messages whenever there is activity on your favorite lots, or someone challenges your proxy bid and this is why you will be asked for both your current email and cell phone number. If you are a past participant in the Farm Gate Timed auctions simply enter your username and password to continue. This takes you to a list of both current and upcoming Farm Gate Auctions.
2. You can choose your favourite lots in this sale at this time and the program will allow you to open either all sale lots or just your favorite lots on your screen. Any time there is active bidding on a lot you have identified on your favorite list you will get a text and/or an email noting this activity. 2. 3. The program allows you to place a proxy bid on any sale lot. This in fact protects your interest in any lot of interest for you to a specified dollar value you set, when you may not be able to give 100% attention to the sale. If the lot has a $2000 bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you but if some one else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for you, this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective, and you will no longer have the winning bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again or moving your attention to a second lot of interest.
4. At closing time of the sale the entire sale will extend bidding if a bid is placed on any lot in the sale. Any bid received after close time will extend the sale by the time listed on each sale. In Most cases the time gets shorter the longer in to extended bidding the sale is. When no bidding occurs for the extended time, the computer will declare the sale finished.

Welcome to our annual Creek’s Edge Bull Sale Catalogue!
Thank you for taking the time to browse through our catalogue and consider the bulls we have to offer this year. We greatly appreciate everyone who has bought, bid, or shown interest in our program over the years. Our bull pen is defined by hair, length, depth, muscle, and calving ease. We encourage you to watch the videos of the bulls to truly appreciate all they have to offer. The videos will be posted on the Charolais Banner site, our website, and the DLMS Timed Auction Site.
This year, we will once again sell the bulls through the DLMS Timed Auction, which has proven to be a great fit for our customers. This year instead of hosting a specific open house day, we invite you to visit us at your convenience to tour the bull pen. Just give us a call, and we’ll be happy to walk you through the pen and help you select your next herd sire.
If you’re familiar with our program, you’ll notice that our tried-and-true herd sires are still going strong in the bull pen. Rawes Marti and Sparrows Red Rock sons are standouts that will enhance the performance of your
calf crop. The KAYR Amigo sire group is an impressive, easy-doing bunch. If you are looking for a heifer bull, check out the KAYR Griffins. We bred our entire heifer pen to him this year, and he calves extremely well. For those who remember the 780A bull “Stout,” we have kept one of his powerful polled sons to carry on his legacy here. The SKW Open Range 176J sire group is packed with performance. Additionally, we have one very special old herd sire to mention: Steppler 83U. We have one son off of the old 83U available this year, and he exhibits the same remarkable characteristics as his sire.
The future looks bright for the cattle industry, as supplies are short, and demand is rising. I’m sure you can all relate when I say that we are looking ahead with optimism and excitement. We are truly grateful to be a part of this one-of-a-kind industry and thankful to have cows helping us raise our kids!

BULL EVALUATION: All bulls will be semen tested prior to the sale. Sale day weights and scrotal measurements will be posted on the DLMS TIMED AUCTION CREEK’S EDGE SALE closer to sale day.
DELIVERY: If you pick up your bull(s) by March 22 you will receive $100 off your purchase. We will deliver your purchase free of charge, up to 300km prior to May 1. On distances over 300km arrangements will be made to meet at a central point. If you are not able to take delivery prior to May 1, we will charge $5/day/bull and the bull(s) must be picked up before June 1.
VACCINATIONS AND HERD HEALTH: We work closely with our veterinarian Dr. Victor Kernaleguen of Gateway Vet Services in Melfort. Our animals have been on a herd health program since birth and our cowherd is Express Verified.
NUTRITION: We work with our herd nutritionist to ensure that our bulls are being fed a complete ration that will optimize growth and development of the bulls and ensure high performance and longevity. Our bulls are fed a TMR which includes – barley silage, alfalfa brome hay and a complete protein pellet with mineral package.
SEMEN RIGHTS: Creek’s Edge Land & Cattle Ltd. reserves the right to collect semen on all the bulls sold in the sale. Semen collection will be at the seller’s expense and owner’s convenience.
SIGHT UNSEEN PURCHASE PROGRAM: We know that as producers, you may be busy and unable to attend the open house or tour the bull pen. We can assist you with finding the right bull(s) to meet the needs of your program. Please feel free to contact us for assistance with finding the right bull(s) for your program requirements.
CATALOGUE ERRORS: Errors discovered in the Catalogue will be corrected on the DLMS Farmgate website and the correction will take precedence over printed material in the catalogue.

INSURANCE: Steen Agencies will provide insurance available to purchase on sale day. The animals become your responsibility as soon as sold. We recommend insuring your purchases!
EXCHANGE RATE: For our American friends, the exchange rate will be displayed on the DLMS FarmGate Timed Auction site.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION: Once payment has been received for your bull you will receive a Certificate of Registration from the Canadian Charolais Association.
ACCIDENTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers while touring the bull pen, Creek’s Edge Land & Cattle Ltd. or the Wieglosz Family assume no responsibility in the matter and disclaims any liability, legal or otherwise in the event of an accident or loss of property.
PAYMENT: Payment can be made directly to Creek’s Edge Land & Cattle Ltd. You will receive an emailed invoice from DLMS after the sale has closed. We will accept cash, cheque or etransfer. All monies are in Canadian Funds. Bulls will not be delivered until payment is received.

Marti Sire Group
When we purchased Marti we were looking for a well rounded performance type bull. We were impressed right away by his consistency. He sires calves that are stout made and hairy. He has excellent foot quality which breeds through to his calves. The daughters have excellent udders and are built to last. He’s a bull that we will continue to use for years to come.
Tex is another top end bull. He combines 3 of the most influential herd sires that we owned. His dam is an 83U granddaughter out of the 780A bull. These two bulls both produced superior footed, easy doing cattle. Cross that with Rawes Marti and you have many generations of excellent feet and superior udders. He’s a wellbalanced bull with muscle shape, depth, and a very attractive makeup. I think he has a lot of potential to be something great.
I really appreciate Stillwater’s depth of body and softness. He’s an attractive made bull with great muscle shape. He’s got a good hair coat and excellent feet. His dam is a deep bodied cow with an outstanding udder. He’s a top end bull with a lot of potential.
SKW Casino 102M
Another top end Marti son whose picture doesn’t do him justice. He’s got great body depth and length. The 106E cow is one of my best cows who always delivers top end calves. His brother, from last years sale, sold to Tom Cunningham from Southern Ontario.
Howler 114M
A performance type Marti son with great depth of body. The Marti sons are very consistent and very predictable in quality. Howler has lots of calving ease in his pedigree with his Ledger dam who is a deep bodied, easy doing cow herself.
Another top-quality Marti son here. He’s long, deep, and stout made. I really like the style and presence of this bull. He has a great foot and moves extremely well.
Rematch 127M
Rematch is a maternal brother to one of our high sellers in last years sale. He is deep and soft made and will add pounds to your next calf crop.
Another powerful Marti son. He’s got size, depth, and length. He possesses an excellent hair coat and is backed by an excellent dam. He is a maternal brother to a bull selected by Wrangler Charolais in last years sale.
Bounty is an outcross red factor bull who is deep and long. He’s got a great haircoat and is very quiet. He is a maternal brother to a bull we sold in last year sale to Tri N Charolais.
Bradshaw really stands out with his hair, depth and overall capacity. He’s the type of high-end bull that will really elevate your next calf crop. He has a moderate birthweight and great performance.

Tourque is a small headed, smooth shouldered bull. He’s a medium boned bull out of an excellent cow family.

Ironclad was one of the biggest bull calves all summer. He was easy to spot out in the herd. He developed fast and just kept coming along. He possesses a lot of depth, muscle and is heavy haired. His dam has been an excellent cow with a great udder and excellent feet. He’s a bull that is impressive to see in person.
Red Rock Sire Group
Red Rock is a muscular, easy doing bull. He has excellent feet and a great hair coat. His calves follow in his foot steps being a herd bull type, sound, functional and consistent. He throws that tan colour that can work well on your white cows, tan cows, or for those herds who have a few black cows. His daughters are going to be a real asset in the future here. Already raising top quality calves.
Red Rock on Marti daughters really works well. It’s a great combination, building on the depth, hair and thickness of these two-herd bull. Outlaw has all of these characteristics and is a very complete bull with excellent feet. Backed by an

A powerful, high quality outcross tan bull. He is an attractive made bull with incredible depth and balance. He possesses a solid quarter and has a very quiet temperament.
Dusty is a moderate, stout made, easy doing type bull. He is small headed and smooth made. He moves really well and is a very complete package.
Another stout made Red Rock son. He’s got a heavy muscled quarter and is a meat wagon. He has a nice modest birthweight backed by an excellent uddered young cow.
Here’s another bull with the Red Rock/Marti combo with great results. He’s got the muscle, hair and depth to really add to your next calf crop.
Parker is another stout made outcross red factor bull. He is soft made and really stout. This bull has a pedigree stacked with hair, foot quality and longevity.
Reload is another one of those powerful Red Rock sons who is soft made, heavy haired and muscular. He is an impressive bull who really gets out and moves.
Here’s a long-bodied son of Red Rock. He has all the consistency and qualities of his brothers. This type of bull I really like and is the reason we really like what the Red Rock sire has done for us.
Here’s a really neat calf. He’s an end of February calf that’s a real eye catcher. He has a real herd bull look with excellent hair and heavy muscle shape.
Custommade 176L
Custommade is a performance red factor bull with tremendous length of body. He has a good hair coat and is a sound moving bull that’ll cover a lot of cows this summer.

Amigo Sire Group
Amigo was a great addition to our bull battery. We were looking for a bull with muscle, shape and hair and found all of that and more with him. There is an extremely strong set of bulls off of this new sire. They look very much like Amigo and possess the muscle and easy doability we really admire. They are also an extremely docile sire group and are a pleasure to be around.
SKW Rockytop 20M
Rockytop was a top performer all summer long. He was easy to find with his performance, body mass and length of body. He is one of our top performance calves this year out of a solid, consistent producing dam.
SKW Rocksolid 21M
Rock Solid is a bull with style and presence. He is clean fronted, long bodied and has excellent hair. I really appreciate the hip of this bull and the clean make up of this bull. His dam is an excellent uddered, Rawes Marti daughter.
SKW Brinks 48M
Here’s another typical Amigo son. He’s long and smooth out of a solid producing B cow who has been a great producer through the years. He does prefer to be with the group of bulls and not singled out on his own.
Badlands is a bull that is much better than his picture. He comes from a very strong cow family. He’s a bull that has excellent depth and muscle mass.
Samson is a small headed, smooth made bull. He has great length and excellent eye appeal. He’s a good haired bull out of an exceptional dam with a perfect udder.
I really like this bull. He is a deep sided, attractive made bull with an excellent hip structure. His dam is an outstanding young cow with a big body and excellent udder.
Here’s a bull I really like. He’s stout made, deep and soggy. He’s got a great hair coat and is off one of my favourite cows. She has been an excellent consistent producer and is the type of cow we strive to have. There is a lot of potential with this bull. He’s a moderate birth weight and great weaning weight.
Pitboss is a well-rounded bull; small headed, smooth made, and great hair. He’s a bull that possess great performance and eye appeal.

Here’s another exceptional Amigo son. He’s an attractive made, free moving bull that has a great hair coat. His maternal brother was one of our top calves last year. I feel this bull has a lot of potential with a moderate birth weight and strong weaning weight.

Here’s a mid February Amigo son with a moderate birth weight. Out of an excellent Rawes Marti daughter, he has a great hair coat and long body.
Lil’ Dude is off of my 4-H cow SKW Lily 160J. This past summer I showed him alongside his mom as a 3 year old pair and won grand Champion 3 year old and Supreme Female at our Regional Show. Lil’ Dude is big muscled and heavy haired. He has a very strong foot and has an amazing cow family to back him up. I am excited to see where he goes!

We had used the Winn Mans 780A bull for many years and wanted to retain a powerful son to continue with this pedigree. Open Range has delivered a performance type calf crop with extra length and superior feet shape. We retained quite a few of his daughters and are excited to see them calve next year.

A really stout made tan bull who is moderately made and easy doing. His dam is a really consistent producer who is deep sided and easy doing herself.
Here’s a special bull that comes from one of my favourite cows. He is an attractive made bull with great neck extension and tremendous body length.
Longevity is really important in the cattle business. Longrange’s dam is a solid producer and raised another solid calf at 16 years of age. This bull is extremely long with good depth of body. He’s a bull that possesses a lot of qualities that will benefit you in the years to come.
