Welcome to the 3rd Annual Superstar Charolais Sale on December 18, 2022, at Saskatoon Livestock Sales, on Highway #14, West of Saskatoon. Since its inception, like the name, it has become the Charolais breed’s premier event. Founded during the pandemic, it has increased the value and set a new level for females in this great breed.
Each individual animal is selected for quality and genetics to insure the purchaser the highest degree of customer comfort. Exciting… yes very exciting! The 2022 models are fancy and competitive. Many of these heifers have been shown this fall with successful results. Ideal for juniors of all ages, after their show careers, they will be front paddock females producing bulls for your customers.
The bred female division is as powerful as ever with diversity in genetics and the sires they are mated to. Several will move forward to become donors with a high return on investment. Being close to tax year end and ready to clip a coupon, the bred females make them a wise investment for the years ahead.
The flushes and embryos are selected and based on the production predictability of the donor. The results of the embryos and flushes will be exciting… breed leaders for the exciting times that lie ahead.
You can be sure that the spring of 2023 will record the highest, most sought-after bull market where quality will dictate price… it has in the feeder calf market. Never has there been a time such as now to own purebred Charolais breeding stock… make certain that you are the last bidder!
Plan to be with us at Superstar III, it will be well worth the trip! Feel free to give any of the T Bar Team a call and we will assist with your purchases in a professional and confidential manner.

Kit Kat is a unique breeding tool; a female we admire for her maternal pedigree from front to back. We thought twice about parting with this heifer calf but the Superstar Sale is deserving of our best! Kit Kat’s dam needs no introduction. Her pedigree is one of the most sought after in our breed for its versatility in the industry. On her sire’s side, the Guinness pedigree is calving ease and udder quality all day long. The makeup of this female is ideal from front to back and foot quality is superior. She is loaded up with longevity and quality production on both sides.
BY: WILGENBUSCH CHAROLAIS
This heifer is a powerhouse, just like her mama. She’s been stout and good looking since day one. Her maternal sister sold to Juan Barajas of Mexico, as a bred heifer in last year’s Alberta Select Sale. That heifer went on to drop as nice of udder as you can put on one and had a beautiful heifer calf. On the sire side, Thunder has been as predictable of a sire as we have used. Our cow herd has lots of females that go back to Thunder and you can bet any of our Thunder sired bulls will be in the bull sale. Our other two lots in this sale, ONL 83K and WGD 70K are both out of cows that are Thunder daughters. This heifer is nice to work with and has the makings of one heck of a mama cow. Follow us on Facebook at Daines Cattle & O’Neill Livestock for updated pictures and videos. Be sure to check out our Junior Incentive!
This heifer has the look that makes you look! Fancy, functionally made and from one of our foundation cow families, the Allie family. 83K’s mother, 1C, is a full sib to the National Reserve Champion Female from Farmfair 2018 and the National Reserve Champion Bull from Denver 2018. We would have shown the 1C cow herself, but she injured herself as a calf; she has been busy nailing the mama cow thing ever since. She is a big bodied, bigger framed cow with a very wellconstructed and correct udder. 1C is the mother of the cow we are showing this fall, ONL Smooch 3F. We were excited to cross this predictable cow family with ONL Whiskey Bent 39H, a previous bull sale seller to Circle Cee Charolais. Whiskey Bent is a son of the Miss Trim 298Z cow, a cow that has done so much for our program. A really nice pedigree on a really correct and cool made heifer that is really nice to be around too. We think this heifer will be super fun to show as a bred. Follow us on Facebook at Daines Cattle & O’Neill Livestock for updated pictures and videos. Be sure to look ask about our Junior Incentive!

If it’s not broke, then don’t fix it and there’s nothing about this cross I would want to fix! This heifer is a full sister to WGD 20J, who sold in this sale last year to Wilgenbusch and Elder. She is also a full sib to the popular seller, WGD Ruger 8J, who was purchased by Springside Farms for $72,000. The consistency in this flush has been incredible, every progeny to hit the ground has had a halter put on it. These are the kind we like to raise. This heifer has loads of middle, is very easy doing, is really sound and she pulls it all together with a sweet front end for that show ring look. There is a very limited supply of these genetics and here is your opportunity to take advantage of this popular mating. Follow us on Facebook at Daines Cattle & O’Neill Livestock for updated pictures and videos. Be sure to ask about our Junior Incentive. Retaining the right to one flush at our expense and the buyer’s convenience.

The Cindy cow family is one of the longest standing cow families on the farm and they sure know how to get it done! 289k is no exception and is the quality that we have come to expect from the Cindy’s! She is long made, big bellied with an attractive feminine front end. Her sire LT Ransom has made waves here in Canada since his first sons sold this spring. We are incredibly excited to get our first Ransom females into production this coming calving season. Her dam 460 is top producing female with a gorgeous udder. 289K has been a favourite since she was born and you notice her consistently when you walk into the pen. When set in motion, you love her even more, being free and fluid in her ability to travel. We believe this female is one that will have the ability to produce sale topping bull calves or top end replacement females.
CONSIGNED BY: HUNTER CHAROLAISThis bold bodied, soft haired sweetheart is truly a pleasure to analyze and tough to pick a hole in. From her power hip design to her bold sprung center body she carries the right degree of power and bone with flexibility in her movement yet still offering a sense of presence with a striking and alluring look. Steeped in Superstar tradition Starstruck 220K is sired by the sensation of the inaugural Superstar sale, SVY Trust, whose first calf crop is living up to the lofty expectations set for this sensational young sire. Her Starstruck dam hits it out of the park every year having produced a championship heifer for the Cordes family in Illinois, a 2021 Superstar light now a donor female for KFC Farms and for the bull side of things a tremendous young herd sire for CSS Charolais, SVY Outrider.
Productivity and functionality with all the added extras!
CONSIGNED BY: SERHIENKO CATTLE CO.We opened all the gates for Chris Poley to select a top female and he has chosen our best. This two-year old weaned a 923 lb. bull calf on September 1 sired by JWX Guiness and will be our feature herd bull prospect in the C2 spring bull sale. Her mother, JMB MS Oakridge 849U, is an outstanding producer and donor with 24 recorded progeny and is the dam of the 2017 National and Agribition Champion bull, JMB Fisher 604D.
JMB Rose 10H is homo polled, beautiful in profile, moderate framed with an exceptional udder and proven milk flow through the results of her first calf. Bred to CS Mango 256M (Curtis Wallace) on April 21 with no exposure. Her resulting calf will virtually be an outcross to today’s genetics out of a proven and predictable cow family. She is a “Superstar” with exciting possibilities!
CONSIGNED BY: JMB CHAROLAISIf it is possible, this cow keeps getting better and better. When Chris came out this summer, I wanted to find a cow that best represents our program. I truly believe 175H does just that. This cow is a tank with loads of middle, bone and muscle with a impeccable foot. Look at this udder, I truly believe you wont find a nicer udder. As well, sired by the outcross OCR Done Deal D101 we purchased from Odden’s in South Dakota. We truly feel if you are looking for a unique breeding piece for your program, this is the cow for you.
AI’d safe to Pleasant Dawn Connection 195G April 18th, 2022. No Exposure. Homo Polled 100K Tested Retaining right to Flush at owners convenience and sellers expense
This Apex daughter in my opinion is a mirror image of her mother. She is a tank with loads of hair and top with the same beautiful foot. We feel that this female will be every bit as good as her mother and that says a lot. This calf just has that presence and when you see her on the move, you will know what we are talking about. Watch for this heifer calf in our stall at Agribition. We truly feel if you are looking for a unique breeding piece for your program, this is the heifer for you. A Global daughter that is a real doll! She is easy going and easy keeping all at the same time. A female that is deep sided, well balanced, chisel fronted, and udder type looks to be perfect. I really like a lot of things about this female. She is not extreme in any way and put together so well. This female is backed by a superior Sundance female, moderate, stout, strong footed. She is bred to JWX 59H (Tank x Wynnemaker) a calving ease bull we kept out of the 2021 sale.
Bred JWX Halifax 59H (Tank x Gridmaker) April 16,2022 to June 5,2022 Confirmed first cycle bred
A Ballyhoo female that is cool from front to back. Balance is one of the most descriptive words for this powerful bred female. She is ideal in her hip structure, is thick bodied, sound footed, and easy keeping. A female we really admire for her front third with her angularity out of that shoulder and tidy head. Thickness and power best describe her with an eye appealing presence. Her Downhome dam is moderate in frame, thick bodied, and big on production putting another stout bull calf in the pen this year.

Ransom put down some serious swagger this spring with his quality sons being sought after at more than one ranch this spring. This Ransom female is loaded with maternal traits; she is clean shouldered, strong footed, length of spine, and udder quality. Her Epic dam is ideal in udder quality, production is as she hit it out of the park with another heifer calf this year. This bred has been a standout for us all year. the Epic x Gridmaker in her pedigree means a long term cow. The Ransom females are consistent in their softness, body mass, udder type and docile nature.

Welcome to the Charolais Superstar Sale! We are excited to consign for the first time with a pair of bred heifers that we feel can go out and add value to any herd. Glitter is a heifer we really admire. She comes from a strong cow family with capacity, perfect feet and exceptional udders. 101J is no exception. The udder she is developing is picture perfect and her feet are too. Both maternal sisters have been retained in our herd. Glitter’s granddam, 502R, produced some of the top females in our herd. Glitter’s naturally gentle disposition is just as we would expect from an Astroid. She is bred for an early January calf by Mr. Louber Jaguar 1105J. Jaguar was the top selling bull we purchased from Ferme Louber last spring. As a value-added option, we would like to offer the new owners the option of the heifers returning to HTA to be calved out. We wanted to offer this on both of our consignments as the sale is not far off their due dates and not everyone calves in January. Please give us a call to discuss in further detail if this option appeals to you.

Kiwi is a very stylish, correct made heifer. Her coming 10-year-old dam is a powerhouse cow who has been a strong producer in our herd. The replacement heifer pen consisted of 50 females and Kiwi was Chris Poley’s pick of the group. The Class females have proven to be great cows and her mating with Spiderman will be sure to not disappoint. The Spiderman calves hit the ground and grow! We invite you to the farm anytime to tour through our herd and have a visit and talk cattle. Please do not hesitate to give us a call or send us a text anytime!

57J is a long bodied heifer with extra style. She shows big rib shape and is great haired. Her dam Tanya 72B is the mother of Toronto Royal Supreme Bull MVY Caous 64D. Her sire MVY Governor 5G is also the sire of the 2021 Players Club Champion MVY Backdraft 35J. She is bred to Apex so will be an exciting mating to look forward to.

Here is a female I feel will leave her mark in your herd. A Fortress daughter that could have had a halter hung on her and been very competitive. She is long, deep ribbed and angular with great lines and a super disposition. Her dam is a heavy milking Epic daughter that is a great producer. Sabrina 50J has a full brother working very well in the Charla Moore herd and maternal brother working for Midnight Lake Charolais. She will produce herd sires of her own!

We wanted to return to the Superstar sale with a great one, so we let Chris take his pick of the breds. He has certainly selected one that will move a program to another level. Brandy is undoubtedly the most complete heifer in the pen. The fact that she is a granddaughter of LT Patriot makes her future as a top producer almost a guarantee. She is big ribbed and angular in her make up, sound in structure, with perfect teat size and placement, topped off with a great disposition. She is sired by the popular LT Nationwide whose sons were in demand last spring by purebred and commercial breeders alike. Many Nationwide sons topped their respective sales. We feel the daughters are even better. The cow families in this female are incredible. Brandy’s mother 4141B is the picture of class in her phenotype, structure and udder quality. A son was a seller to Balamore Farms, NS. The females behind Nationwide are exceptional. They come from possibly the greatest maternal cowherd in all of the USA. You will see 110J’s maternal sibling, an LT Patriot heifer on the road next year. She is special. With all that said, we decided 110J’s mating with PCC BRCHE White Bear (full sib to Berkley) would stock her pedigree even more with great females that win in the ring and produce at the top of the herd year after year.

A rare opportunity to get in on one of the breeds coolest made perfect uddered females Pretty Lady 98C the dam of the Canadian selling yearling bull in 2021 Elder’s Houlio 4H. Pretty lady will become a cornerstone female here at Elder Charolais and we feel this opportunity could fast track any operation. Pretty Lady knocked it out of the park with Houlio who is making his own mark on the Charolais breed.
Stop by CWA and have a look at Elder’s Kapone 2111K a son of Pretty Lady who we think very ly of. Pretty Lady is open and ready to flush at your convenience!
Terms of flush:
1 successful flush with a guarantee of 10 Grade A Embryos. In a result of more than 10 embryos the buyer can purchase the remaining embryos at a pro-rated price. If the buyer decides not to purchase the remaining eggs Elder Charolais will become the owners.
Buyer will be responsible for all flush costs.
LT Brenda 2184 needs no introdution as she has quickly became one of the most recognized and sought after females in the breed. She has consistently produced the caliber of progeny desired by astute cattlemen the world over. 2184’s first foray into the spotlight saw her as the feature lot in the National Sale where 1/2 interest sold for $29,000.00. Since then 13 sons sold at auction and have averaged over $13,000.00 with her 14th selling this spring for $36,000.00. In the 2020 Satterfield Female Sale a 1/2 yearling heifer, SAT Brenda 9307 ET, a daughter by LT Affinity, sold for $13,000.00 to Rathmourne Charolais and during the Grand Hills Dispersal, 2184’s dam LT Brenda 8034 Pld sells for $50,000.00 at 12 years of age to J&J Trust. This is one of those cow families that just don’t miss. Take your turn and grab onto this opportunity on sale day!

Dam that stands out in any herd, regardless of age. 2016 Reserve National Champion Senior Female. Dam of SOS Pandemic 168H and was acquired from SOS dispersal in December 2021. These embryos out of Elder’s Houlio 4H, the Canadian selling Charolais bull in 2021, is already “money in the bank”. Guarantee one live calf if implanted by a certified technician.
The Desirae cow family needs no introduction for its successes and production power in the cattle industry. Desirae 7F is proving to be the next building block in this already industry defining cow family. She has produced an $85,000 son and $33,000 heifer calf in the first two years of production. Our idea when picking sires to combine with 7F is to continue to build on one of the absolute matriarch lines in the breed by adding industry leading cow families to the already legendary Desirae family. WGD Rugger 8J made quite a statement this spring, checking all the boxes with his phenotype being homo polled out of a great cow family and having an outcross genetic make up. With limited semen to sell be ahead of the curve with a Rugger 8J mated with Desirae 7F It is not too often in any breed that you can say you are combining two cow families that have both won Supreme in Regina. This is your chance to be able to put your tattoo on such a calf. Combing Trust the $123,000 outcross phenom, who is powered by the Star Struck cow family and already leaving his breeding mark and showing a dominant influence on the industry. You can only begin to imagine the possibilities with the amount of maternal power backing these expected progeny. They will be a force on the biggest stages. These genetics rarely hit the market. Do not miss this opportunty.
Guarantee one pregnancy per package if implanted by a certified technician.

Hollie is a female who has stood the test of time. A female who is so sound on her feet and legs, entering her 10th year in the program here. We really can’t get enough of the Crusty Demon daughters. Big, square brood females with great feet, udders and longevity that possess the ability to be bred to most sires and click. Hollies maternal strength is really coming through in our program with daughters and grand daughters constantly breeding pen standouts and sale toppers. We feel this mating to Turnbulls Duty Free 358D is going to be one that raises the bar.
