Hey Family! I hope you are all having a great summer! I know you are all doing the best you can do to make as big of an impact as you can. I have had an absolutely wonderful time in Honduras, and will miss it, but I am excited to continue serving you all. Remember to send out resources and updates to your secretaries and constantly be informing them about things that can help them with reporting. There are many new resources that are out like the Jolly Book of Wisdom. Just remember to inform clubs and if you ever have any questions or need anything don’t hesitate to ask me. Updates and Information

Task of the Month The Task of the Month will be posted around the 7th of each month on the District website under secretary blog. Remember to send the Task of the Month out to your clubs Remind clubs to update their COCI as soon as they can!

Resources Jolly Book of Wisdom: The Jolly Book of Wisdom is a guide for secretaries on all components of the report. If you ever have any problems with reporting you can look in this guide for the solution. The guide is a great source and has been around for many years. It is updated every year and has been updated recently for the new year. It has the sample pages and points system in it as well. It can be found at http://tokeyclub.com/resources/secretary/ Points System: The updated point system is available on the District Website under Secretary Resources. This shows you how I grade club reports every month. Monthly Report Tutorial: There is a video available on the secretary resources page that walk you step by step through making a report and provides tips for how to make a report better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yi87zUXhclA Monthly Vlogs: Every month I make a video that covers updates and answers FAQs to help club secretaries. Miracle Treat Day: Remember to mark your calenders for Miracle Treat Day! Every year Dairy Queen donates money to Children’s Miracle Network (This year’s Governor’s Project).

The district staff will be putting a back to school package up on the website very soon so keep an eye out for that because it will include resources and checklists that your clubs will find useful once they begin to prepare for school to start. NOTE

Blouse neckline no lower than the lowest point of your collarbone (top of the “v” created by collarbone and rib cage)  Blouses should be long enough to tuck or cover midriff (includes back) when seated  Dress as if you are going to a scholarship or job interview  If what you are wearing has to be constantly adjusted to cover up something, be long enough, loose enough, etc., it is probably not acceptable 
