Carl Albert High School-Regional Food Bank– From 9AM until noon, volunteers stood at an assembly line and packed boxes of food for people in need in the metro area. Several palettes of food boxes were able to be shipped off with the help. Cinco Ranch High School – Houston Area Wrestling Tournament– At the Wrestling Tournament, Key Club members gathered all together awaiting the announcer’s orders to direct them to the appropriate locations where they were put to judge, time, tap, clean and most of all be friendly. When bouts were slow, members would go around the arena to collect trash, hand out water bottles, and answer any questions concerning the migration of teams. Before matches, members would also handle the referee and officials rooms, making sure that every room was jam packed with enough food for the adults to keep going. The biggest job for key clubbers was having two members at each of the sixteen tables there to determine the winning teams and locating them to the according bout. – Samantha Pol Jenks High School–Faith Based—Members volunteered at various places of worship. Members helped in Sunday School, childcare, and different events. Judson Early College Academy High School-UIW Headwaters Clean Up– Members who attended this service project worked with Headwaters Coalition volunteers at the University of the Incarnate Word to help restore parts of the San Antonio river. Members used mulch to create a new hiking path to promote wellness and recreational activities. Summer Creek High School-Talent Show– Members worked on a Talent Show all month. They helped backstage, worked doors, and helped with music.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PAY DUES 1. Go to www.keyclub.org/MUC to access the Membership Update Center. 2. Click “Register/Reset Password.” Clubs with only new faculty members should do this! Clubs with faculty members from last year may use the same information as last year. 3. You’ll be prompted to enter an email address. The faculty advisor must then enter his/her email address. He/She should receive a confirmation email informing he/she that his/her email address has been recognized and providing him/her with a unique hyperlink which will allow him/her to set his/her own, new password to access the Membership Update Center whenever he/she would like. 4. If your faculty advisor’s email has been rejected, then you will need to email memberservices@kiwanis.org with a request to update your club’s faculty advisor contact information before you can set yourself a password and get into the system. Once your information is updated, then you should be able to go through the process detailed in step 3. 5. After you have set a new password for your club, then you will be able to log into the Membership Update Center in future years using your advisor’s email address and your personal password. Once you get into the system, it is much improved from previous years and should be fairly self-explanatory. For more details about how to navigate the system once you are logged in, please see the Kiwanis help video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gV47UE5uas).
