CUBIE CUPID Form Exploration Exploring and extracting the form of cubes. Each cubes demonstrated different design principle, such as scale & Proportion, rhythm, repetition, addition and subtraction. Unique shadow patterns are form by shinning lights. when Exploration of different lighting colours evokes a different feeling. 03&04- Exploration of shadows and patterns effects. 05- Green is a cool colour tones which give a eerie feeling to the cube. 06- Purple give the cube a mysterious look.

SPIRALFULL Form Exploration Exploration of colours and lighting effects in the spiral form. 01- Combinations of pastel colours green, blue and pink. The space looks more smoothing, soft and neutral that are pleasing to the eye. 02-Combination of warm orange and cool blue, it makes the spiral form looks energetic yet soothing. 03-Complementary colours of yellow and blue give a vibrant look, and make the form stand out. 04-White light to explore the shadows and patterns when shinning at different angles. 05-Cool green suggests stability and endurance.

TRIO Form Exploration

To create an extracted form by exploring triangles. Triangular planes are inserted to create interesting spaces. Trio is a unique form which consists of three gradation of triangular planes, and an extraction of pyramid form at the top. The gradation allows the user to appreciate the scale and proportion of the spaces.

LIGHTING & COLOUR EFFECTS

COLOUR SCHEME

Trio have a combination with three colours, purple, blue, and red. The inspiration come from the bird, the 3 colours combination make it looks elegant. However, individual colour evokes a different feeling. Red give people a sense of danger, yet it represents passion. Blue is a relaxing colour, yet makes people feels emotional.

CRUISE Studio Project 1 DEVELOPMENT PROCESS – WEARABLE ART 01~06

DESIGN CONCEPT To design a temporary retail store that is inspired by Marc Jacobs using the design principle of layering, to create a fun and lively ambience. The area is chosen because it has a double volume space to build a mezzanine and opening for nice view and good ventilations.

LA VERNA 3Ds Max Modelling

La Verna is designed and created using 3Ds Max, from modelling to putting in materials, and to adding lightings. Lastly, using Adobe Photoshop to enhance the perspectives. The lighting is very important, it creates the ambience of the space and make it more realistic. Minimalist concept using neutral colour scheme and warm lighting makes the space cozy. La Verna has an open and bright concept with an abundance of natural light flowing in. A relaxing and serene villa with a panoramic view of a vast ocean and a spatial living room, that makes an ideal place for a getaway.

TAKEOFF Watchtower Construction This module is about designing a watchtower and learning the construction methods to build the structure. The methods of construction is demonstrated by making a detailed model. I beam is the strongest columns that supports the building. Floor joist is a small timber or a metal beams that is needed in any structure to support a floor or a ceiling. The design of the watchtower is inspired from a bird taking off. Birds have a high elevated distinguished view to observe the surrounding , which is the purpose of a watch tower.

MANUAL RENDERING Development Process of Studio Project 2 1st STOREY FLOOR FINISHES PLAN Rendering using Copic markers Process of spatial layout. The staircase up towards the mezzanine is changed to the workspace, as there is another staircase which leads up to the mezzanine and roof garden.

1st STOREY - PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO The first storey is a photography studio which consists of a lounge, where causal meeting, prelaunch project discussion can be held there. It also act as a space for the user to rest. Shooting area is beside the lounge. The workspace is for editing of photographs. Pantry is located there for user convenience, as they will be working for long hours.

2nd STOREY - LIVING ROOM The second storey is a private living space for my client and his son. There is a void where allows the user to view the gallery display wall, and to look down at the lounge and the entrance. Behind the living room is a built-in furniture for dining and study area.

ROOF GARDEN - PERGOLA The roof garden is a open space where act as a rehearsal runway for the models, audiences are welcome too. It is also multi purpose space when there is no rehearsal. There are coffee table and chairs for my client and his visitor to chill out and relax. LED lights are placed at the two sides of the runway to create
