PROJECT 1

Exploratory and experimental in nature, it encourages you to develop varying perspectives in design approaches and processes, encompassing design conceptualization, visualization and expression of a set theme. PROCESS 1 Wearable attire to develop my idea further from it’s variable shapes and textures.

PROCESS 2 Different colours and textures help to develop the structure of the building and it’s unique features.

NEW APPLICATIONS OF MATERIALS Different materials with different ways of finishing for the walls.

PROCESS MODELS also, finished models with the right sizes for interior spaces for an apparel design shop.

FORM EXPLORATION This subject focuses on the sculpting of the building form and its implications on interior space design.

Inspiration photo to get ideas for my space design and develop from the existing shape.

Process developing the shape, circulation and spaces as a whole.

Colour and light effects to show how the spaces look like in different ambience and what shadows they create.

FINISHED 3D MODELS a unique feature and different colours to give the model a contrast.

FLYOV

Two ladies who are bakers and also businesswomen are partners who own a cupcake shop. The store caters to people “on wheels” such as cyclists or skateboards. During the day business is as usual. However, at night, the store is open to be used as a recreational site for skateboarders in particular. This is a platform used for the youth to enjoy their spare time. These women have to take the safety of their customers as a number one priority to allow this unique concept of a store to take place.

3D MAX

Use of the computer as a design tool in three-dimensional design creation and visualization to effectively present ideas and concepts in the digital mode.

A small relaxing bar acting as a platform for strangers to interact in a calm, sophisticated atmosphere. Skylight enters the space from a semi-cylindrical corner as the main attraction, the glass piano, glistens beautifully. A square shaped space accompanied with white lighting, to compliment the blue tones, allows one to bask in a very care-free atmosphere.

PHOTOGRAPHY

SCENERY

Sunset with warm lighting and infrastructure.

View of Sg’s Arts Science Museum with tall buildings surrounding it.

A focus shot of long stems of plants with red flowers on it.

A shot of an infrastructure with a mixture of a small animal at the side.

Focus shot of flowers with the sky and clouds as it’s background.

A focus shot of the shape of the leave and its’ veins on it. The rusty peeling black background giving the photo a contrast.

Adjacent spaces in B&W to show a contrast of the façade.

Night-lights

Movements of the camera that caused different shapes and colours of lights to appear on one photo.

Lights that casted different shapes with different line weights in a lot of angles in a dark place.

A transition of a Styrofoam box getting burned to pieces. The flames turned to many different shapes and colours. Bright to warm flames.

ARRANGING FLOWERS

Used recycled flowers to create a new arrangement/theme in a new vase ; bulky and bright

Used recycled flowers for a new theme ; short, sharp and bright.
