Water heaters need to be periodically flushed, especially if they are not used for extended periods of time. Debris from our water supply builds up on the electrical heating elements, decreasing their energy efficiency. Whitehall technicians flush water heaters on every service visit. Making appliances more energy efficient is a smartmove.

Air conditioning ducts run throughout your attic, carrying cool air to all parts of your home. Over time, duct joints can loosen, causing cool air to escape into the attic and reducing the system’s cooling efficiency. When the cool air meets hot air in the attic, it creates a perfect condition for sweating, leading to ceiling leaks and possible mold growth. Whitehall technicians inspect all ductwork with every service visit. Keeping your air conditioning systems operating at peak efficiency is a smartmove.

real life Dee Creal, President of John’s Island Ocean Place association had this to say after Croom Construction remodeled the Ocean Place condominium building (1050 Beach Road) following an extensive fire. “My life was indeed made easier thanks to the expertise and fine people employed by Croom, and I am not the only one that feels this way. Lots of compliments are coming their way,” Creal said. Croom Construction Company built the original oceanfront building in 1984. When fire gutted a large

portion of the building in late 2008, David Croom was on the scene the next day. He immediately went to work so the renovation process could begin promptly. His goal, along with Charles Croom, was to get the residents back into their homes as soon as possible. They exceeded everyone’s expectations. That’s what careful project planning and thoughtfulness for clients can do.
