Nature’s Versatility Plants and flowers add beauty to every space they inhabit, yet they also have phenomenal versatility and health benefits. Our food supply, bioenergy discoveries, and wildlife all depend on plants. So while your garden showcases beautiful flowers, trees, vegetables and herbs, consider how Earth’s ecosystem also benefits from the continuous cultivation of plants. • It’s estimated that 7,000 different plant species have been used as food throughout human existence. • Approximately 25% of all prescription medicine is derived from plants. • Humans and wildlife depend on plants for food and shelter every day. • Plants help distribute and purify Earth’s water. They also help move water from the soil to the atmosphere. • Plants and trees are being utilized to produce energy, minimizing our reliance on fossil fuels. • Plants absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen. With your next visit to Rock City Gardens, consider taking a stroll down any of our garden paths. Take the time to meditate, contemplate and soak in the inspiration that our plants and flowers provide for our very existence and enjoyment.

How Does Your Garden Grow? “There are no words to describe Rock City Gardens. Every single plant I’ve ever bought there not only grows beautifully, it thrives. I have geraniums from their nursery and they are the most gorgeous geraniums I have ever seen! They bloom and bloom and bloom. My zizi plant, bought in 2005, is thriving and gorgeous. My neighbors ask me what the secret is and I tell them: I buy my plants and flowers at Rock City Gardens! But the healthy plants don’t come close to describing the gardens. It is by far my most favorite place to meditate and relax. It’s the place to go to be quiet and marvel at the waterfalls, ponds, birds, lovely landscape and flowers. The service is incredible; each sales person takes time with me and answers all my questions. They load my car so that everything arrives at my house without a hitch. Magical. Serene. Glorious. These words describe Rock City Gardens. Oh, they also offer fabulous classes, and are available for parties and weddings. Thank you, Rock City!” — A loyal Rock City Gardens client and follower on Houzz.com
