Christmas is Coming! Oh, we know... it’s only October. Nonetheless, our industrious elves, after spending the summer searching for perfect Christmas trees, are eager for you to see the fruits of their labor. In order not to dampen their enthusiasm, we have agreed to display their magnificent pre-lit trees for two weeks this month. So agog those little guys are, we also agreed to offer some pre-holiday incentives. Purchase a tree between now and October 19th and receive a 20% discount. What’s more, our ever eager elves have agreed to deliver your tree for free, whether you want it now or closer to Christmas.* These formidable trees are brilliantly lit with no dangling wires in evidence, the lights being integrated into every branch. You really must see these glorious specimens. You’ll agree that our elves, like our buyers, are admirably selective. When it comes time to decorate your handsome new tree, be sure to visit our Garden Boutique for a smashing array of gorgeous ornaments including handcrafted designs, exquisite glass baubles and nature motifs. The elves advise they’ll have the Boutique transformed into a Christmas fantasy by November 7th. Because our Christmas trees are so unique, we have a limited number of shapes and sizes. Shop early to find just the right tree. Our elves will be deliriously happy. *Free deliveries in Indian River County only. 3

Made in the Shade Like all smart businesses, Rock City Gardens understands the necessity to reinvest in our company so we can continually offer uncompromising service and beautiful home and garden inspirations. We spent much of the summer tearing down our 49-year-old, wooden Shade House and replacing it with a modern structure we are now calling the Flower & Shade House. We’re excited to announce that it’s ready for the busy season ahead. It was a total renovation— from top to bottom! This new, 10-foot-tall structure has more square footage, new flower tables and improved traffic flow. A double-tier, stone container garden serves as the hub. We also made it easier to access other areas of our seven-acre garden nursery by designing an open floor plan that leads directly to our pond and event areas. A complete new lighting system has been installed so that whether you’re shopping by day or attending a nighttime event, the Flower & Shade House is easily navigable. Most importantly, our new Flower & Shade House has more space for even more beautiful flowers for your gardening delight. It’s filling up quickly, so shop early for the best selections. before 4

Pretty in Pink October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and most of us know at least one person or family affected by this disease. Rock City Gardens proudly backs our community’s local support organizations. October 23rd through October 30th our Garden Boutique and nursery will tag different home and garden décor with a pink ribbon. We will donate 10% of the sale of those items to Friends After Diagnosis, a local non-profit breast cancer support group. The mission of Friends After Diagnosis is to “enhance the lives of those touched by breast cancer through regular support meetings, education, celebration and networking.” For more information, visit www.FriendsAfterDiagnosis.com.

hardscapes

Rock On! When it comes to hardscaping, part of the fun is selecting the appropriate materials. They should complement the style of your home while also appealing to your personality and lifestyle. We pride ourselves on our creativity and resourcefulness. From Florida to Tennessee to Pennsylvania, we hand-select natural stone and rock so you have a wide selection from which to choose. Stone is a product of nature, and where it is quarried or mined naturally influences color and texture. By selecting stone from different regions of the U.S., Rock City Gardens is able to offer a multitude of design possibilities. For more information or to schedule a personal consultation, contact Wade Baxley at 772.589.5835.
