Digital Embroidery Outcomes Here I have stitched out my digital embroidery using the multihued machine. The 2D geometric design maps to articulate into the 3D collapsible hood structure shown.
Shape Memory Alloy: Collapsible hood To visualise my collapsible hood working on a jacket, I have used my digital embroidery design to map onto my three dimensional drawing. This also shows the way the structure would be embellished. Reflective silver thread can also be used to enhance visibility of the wearer in low light conditions to improve their safety, particularly when commuting on the roads.
