2012

WELCOME TO THE 2012 GEORGIA TECHNOLOGY SUMMIT Innovation is part of Georgia’s DNA. The 2012 Georgia Technology Summit celebrates the accomplishments of our businesses and visionaries and validates Georgia’s position as a technology leader. This year’s theme, “Innovation: The Path to a Bright Future” showcases the people, companies and industries that have catapulted Georgia to a position of excellence.

Robert Hendricks 2012 Georgia Technology Summit Committee Chair

Tino J. Mantella President & CEO Technology Association of Georgia

Georgia is on the path to a bright future and, by being here today, each and every one of you are supporting us on this the journey. TAG has a goal of helping Georgia become one of the top five states in the nation for technology by 2015. It is a lofty goal, but we know we can achieve it by coming together as a community and taking advantage of the innovation that happens in Georgia every day. Our Summit this year focuses on the past, present and future; the transformative minds and moments that set us on the path to be the strong technology community we are today and the efforts and ideas that will drive innovation and move us closer to our bright future. We hope you enjoy the speakers we brought here today to talk about innovation and the presentations from our Top 10 Innovative Companies who live and breathe innovation every day. We invite you to reflect upon Georgia’s impact on the world as we induct three new people into the Technology Hall of Fame of Georgia. And we encourage you to make new connections as you network with some of the brightest minds our community has to offer. On behalf of TAG’s Board of Directors and Summit Planning Committee, we thank you for being a part of today’s event and hope it will be an enlightening and enriching experience. ►
