Tahmeed Chowdhury received her CIDA - Accredited bachelor’s in interior design with a minor in architecture and restaurant and hotel management at Texas Tech University. During her time in college, she acquired her skills in working with computer programs such as AutoCAD, revit, enscape, etc. She self-taught photoshop, illustrator, inDesign, and enscape. Hence, she believes herself to be highly intuitive. She considers the behavior of the user according to the environment, to create an exceptionally functional and seamless, yet aesthetic design. Sustainablity, age-in place, and green design are other aspects of design she is passionate about. This approach of design creates a timeless space while guranteeing longevity and saving cost over time. During Tahmeed’s college years, she utilized her knowledge and skills in interior design and computer programs to freelance projects for clients. This experience not only allowerd her to practice her skills, it helped her mindset grow both personally and professionally.
