《玩具電影》Toy Film 國際首映 默片會說話，玩出復古新視野！
玩具電影是一九二、三○年代，用來當成玩具放映機配件的 35 釐米膠卷，配合造 型簡單可愛的手搖放映機，是當時深受日本家庭喜愛的流行小娛樂。為推廣玩具電 影放映機，商人將用完的院線影片裁切發售或是隨著放映機附送，意外地將當時的 影片保存下來。 些 20 秒到 3 分鐘不等的影像片段，從動畫、劍客時代劇、新聞 片段到西方影片盡皆有之，不但保留了近一世紀前的日本電影面貌，也成為膠卷迷 心中的夢幻逸品。

Panay works as a journalist in the city, leaving her two children to her father back in an aboriginal village on the east coast of Taiwan. One day, as her father falls ill, Panay goes back home. 當同一個月裡出現兩次月圓，第二次的月圓稱為 「藍月」。村樹、阿卦和逸芳，三位在都市尋找 愛情和生存之道的男女，千辛萬苦地談戀愛，同 時還要面對恆常未知的茫茫來日。蘇慧倫演活了 台北都會女子的徬徨情愛；柯一正則顛覆了線性 敘事結構：看似獨立卻彼此依附的奇妙狀態，紅 橙黃綠藍五本拷貝可以任意排序播放，120 種可 能，然而每種組合都是則完整的故事。
Unique film form (the 5 film reels are screened in a random order) reflects the possible story lines in the lives of a producer, a writer and a modern young woman. 孩童與玩偶的界線何在？在桑卓阿吉拉的作品中，人 與物的界線向來是思索的起點，鏡頭長時間凝視櫥窗 內的人型模特兒，氣氛陰鬱詭譎，不禁讓人聯想起藝 術歷史中一具又一具的詭態身體。

桑卓阿吉拉的作品總讓觀者進入神祕幽閉的感性世 界，畫面乍似隨意，實際上經過精密的設計與編輯， 光與影，畫內或畫外音，讓人難以低眉無視。本片再 次從昆蟲看世界，片頭片尾那幾乎攝入魅影的監視畫 面為神來一筆的亮點。
什麼是風？什麼是溫度？什麼是水氣？本片彷彿擷取 一般敘事電影中無關緊要的片段，邏輯支離，敘述破 碎。從野外採集到玻璃罐內的標本，孩童們純真的手 指戳破了這段和諧的科學旅程。桑卓阿吉拉再度以他 獨特的視角「接觸」自然。

菲律賓數位電影創作之父。1973 年出生， 從事電影、音樂、詩及小說創作，各方成 就斐然。九○年代晚期曾主持一個藝術家 社群 Oracafe，為在地藝術、文學、音樂 與電影製作的文化樞紐。曾任柏林影展評 審團委員，更是菲律賓第一個數位影像展 MOV 國 際 電 影、 音 樂、 文 學 展 策 展 人。 影像創作迄今完成 47 部劇情片及超過百 部短片，作品縱橫於各大國際影展。

In 1994, filmmaker Khady Sylla attempted to film a documentary about homeless psychiatric patients, but the images were overexposed and unusable. Sylla has made another attempt to portray insanity. An Open Window is simultaneously a portrait, a self-portrait and a lucid illustration of damaged self-awareness in which no sense of time, but only moments exist.
