Taiwan Season 2021 at Edinburgh Festival Fringe
Launched in 2014, Taiwan Season returns to Edinburgh Festival Fringe for an eighth consecutive year, responding to the second year of COVID-19 challenges by proudly presenting Taiwan Season Online Performances & Symposium 2021. Working in partnership with the key Fringe venue Summerhall, and the Fringe itself via their new, on-demand platform Fringe Player, this caringly curated online programme consists of four distinctly different, filmed dance-theatre productions.
Taiwan Season Online Performances 2021: ‘A Glimpse of Taiwan’ (August 6-29) features three specially-edited films and one recorded streaming of a quartet of outstanding Taiwanese dance-theatre produc-tions. Each is available to view on Fringe Player (from £5-£8 per show) from August 6 until the end of the Festival. Additionally, there are watch parties for the four shows at 2pm on both August 12 (ai~sa sa and The Back of Beyond) and August 19 (Fighters and Touchdown).
