EMBRACE THIS MOMENT

Special moments are all around us if we slow down and pause, practicing mindfulness - experiencing the here and now. I often sit outside by the pool with my coffee and listen to the birds chirping, the water flowing, staring out at the lake. In these early morning moments, I reflect on appreciating life, family, love, health, and community. Starting with God and gratitude allows me to set my intentions for an optimistic day. There is no need to look back for an extended period of time because I want to be present and not miss this moment. Being fully present physically, emotionally, and spiritually is a gift that we may all choose to give ourselves each and every day, if only for a few minutes. I encourage you to close your eyes or find a space to practice mindfulness and deep breathing regularly. Know that you are worthy. You are worthy of honor, happiness, respect, and love. Practice positive affirmations daily to stay present and embrace this moment.
