KICKING OFF THE SCHOOL YEAR
FIRST WEEK
First Week activities included team building, ropes courses, scavenger hunts, bowling and trips to the Florida Aquarium, Tampa Bay History Center, Tampa Theatre and Pisgah National Forest where students have had a chance to re-connect, meet new classmates and ease into the upcoming school year.
ASPIRE
ASPIRE (“A Summer Program in Reading Enrichment”) is one facet of the school’s summer reading program and was developed to inspire pleasure reading with students, faculty, administration and staff. Students choose a book- fiction or non-fiction- to read over the summer and then discuss in the fall with a member of the Tampa Prep community
CONVOCATION
Although each school year is unique, at Tampa Prep they all begin the same way Before classes begin and studying starts, the Prep community students, teachers, administrators, alumni, parents and trustees puts on formal attire and gathers for Convocation to set the tone for the coming academic year.
