HISTORICAL EVENTS THAT SET THE TONE FOR TRENDS
• The pandemic has left us with a “depressive mode” and “nostalgic about the good old days”. That is why the increase of bright and fun colors patterns.
• People are tired the pandemic “stay at home”, they want to go out and have FUN outdoors it seems safer, and specially during the summer
• During the pandemic there was an increased number of adoptions of pets, and with that a noticeable increase of people traveling with their pets. This gives us the opportunity to explore more other markets like outdoors, car travel and “vacation mode” trends.
• Still trying to be conscious of the planet, the trend for last 2 years has been recycled materials and fabrics made out of plastic.
