Summary Page The intent of the Tame The Dragon Of Diabetes project is to increase consumer awareness regarding diabetes, and waht Disney theme parks has to offer those who suffer from this disease. This style guide will present the different aspects of the proposed project, fonts, color choices, and its used in print an interactive media.

Print Medium The print portion of this project will be in to parts. First, a tri-fold brochure explaining what Disney Theme Parks has to offer diabetic visitors, including important phone numbers, the locations of medical aid stations, what to expect at Disney parks, what to pack, and information about Disney’s restaurants and their diabetic friendly foods. A sample of the brochure cover is presented on the following page. The brochure will be available through Disney’s website, the tamethediabetesdragon.com website, and as part of Disney travel mailings. The second part of the project is a print advertisement for both the website and brochure (page 5). It is designed to get the interest of diabetic travelers, those who may be new to diabetes and concerned about contorlling the disease and travel. It is also designed to interest the parents of diabetic children who ma wish to take their little princes and princesses to the Magic Kingdom. The ad will be placed in assprted magazines appealing to diabetics, families, and Disney related magazine.

Choice of images should reflect Disney and its appeal to families. For the advertisement ascene from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty has been chosen to underscore the theme of conquering the dragon of diabetes. For the brochure assorted images have been chosen emphasizing the fun whihc can be had at Disney World. The fron has a welcoming photograph of Mickey and the gang, other images focus on things to do at Disney. All images chosed should in someway represent Disney as a fun and exciting place, where adults and chlidren may enoy themselves, and show that diabetes need not be a major worry.
