Una hoja que pende de una rama.

A branch joined to another, and another, to form the crown of a tree (let us stop in for a moment, at the homes of the birds with their rugs of grass).

Una rama que junto a otra, y otra, forman la copa de un árbol (nos detenemos, por un momento, en las habitaciones de los pájaros, sus alfombras de hierba).

A tree that, together with another, and another, makes a forest

(now let us listen to the steps, the age, the heart of the animals). Un árbol que junto a otro, y otro, forman un bosque

(ahora escuchamos los pasos, la edad, el corazón de los animales).

A path, small trails, along which a man, a woman, and a boy walk every afternoon.

Un camino, pequeños senderos, por los que cada tarde atraviesan un hombre, una mujer y un niño.

Big creatures, small creatures: footprints that create the skin of the forest.

Seres grandes, seres diminutos: huellas que forman la piel del bosque.

Paths drawn with the help of autumns, winters, springs, and summers.
