President’s Message

Print Salon and Scott Kelby By Randy Van Duinen – M.Photog. M.Artist. Cr. CPP FDPE FDAE FSA

The Tampa yearly salon competition will be here next week and I am looking forward to seeing some of our member’s incredible photography. With that in mind Rob Morman and I did a 20-minute video on why you would want to compete in print competition and explaining the different competitions within TAPPA, FPP and PPA. If you have a chance to watch it really explains why I’m passionate about print competition and what it can mean for your own personal and professional growth as a photographer. The web link is: www. vimeo.com/259762684 Please excuse the sound we are still working on that. Next month we have a very special guest, Scott Kelby will be our speaker in May and will show us how he re-touches portraits. Most people know Scott as the founder of Photoshop User magazine, Kelby One and Photoshop World, his knowledge of Photoshop and photography are unsurpassed and he is one of the best speakers in this field. This program promises to be one of the best of the year and you won’t want to miss it! I look forward to seeing you at these next exciting meetings. Best, Randy
