How We Tripled Our Business by Changing One Thing By Chuck Vosburgh
2018 was a great year and in spite of some minor setbacks our business tripled! Here’s how:

At the end of 2017 Pat and I sat down and took a look at where our business came from. We had a few different advertising venues that ranged from typical advertising, social media advertising and predictive analytics. Professional Photographer of the Year Michael Landes
Michael Landes
credits his 36years of membership in the Florida Professional Photographers Association for his successes. He is a Master of Photography and a Photographic Craftsman. He also holds the Florida Degree of Photographic Excellence and the Florida Service Award. He has had images included in the Professional Photographers of America’s Loan Collection, the Disney Epcot Exhibit and the Photokina International Exhibit. He has over 100 combined salon First Place Awards and over 300 combined salon Merit Awards and has been awarded the Photographer of the Year 12
times from the Professional Photography Guild of Mid-Florida along with the Digital Artist of the Year 5 times. This is his sixth year receiving the Tampa Area Professional Photographers Association’s Photographer of the Year Award and he has received several Tappa First Place Category Awards. He also received his Image Excellence Award from the Professional Photographers of America this year. 2019 will be his 10th year as the Commercial Photography Instructor at Pinellas Technical College and one of his greatest joys is sharing his student’s successes in professional photography competitions.

- Size: 8x10. - Electronic Imaging size can be two 8x10 taped together on the back and spread open for viewing. - Three entries per member each month. - There must be at least three entries in a category for that category to be included in the monthly competition. - All entries MUST have your name and the category you wish to enter on the back of the print. - Prints must be turned in before 6:25 pm. Prints received after 6:25 will not be accepted!
Winners: - Please send your winning files to POM@TAPPA.org for the newsletter as soon as possible. Deadline for publication is one week after the meeting. - Name your files by your last name-place-category. For example: Smith-1st-Portrait.jpg - Resolution 1500 pixels on the longest side or greater is acceptable. JPEG format is preferable.
