In Memory of Benjamin Todd It is with deep hearts and sadness that we must announce the passing of our long time member and dear friend, Benjamin Todd. Benjamin passed quietly with friends and family by his side September 23rd. Benjamin served the Tampa community with his photographic services opening his first studio in the 1970’s and Benjamin remaining active through recent years.
Benjamin was an active member of TAPPA serving on our board for many years including service as our TAPPA President in 2013 and 2016. Benjamin was also a member of the Florida Professional Photographers Association, Professional Photographers of America, as well as many other organizations. Benjamin’s service and friendship will be missed by all.

Take Control By Chuck Vosburgh
What can I do about it?
To get where you want to be in life, you must develop the view that whatever is happening in your life, good, bad or nothing is caused by you.
Start with the hardest step. In the classic book How to Win Friends and Influence People, Dale Carnegie. Mr. Carnegie explains principle number one: Never condemn, criticize or complain. This one is easier said than done but the results are powerful. Just the awareness of it will make a positive change in all aspects of your life.
When you take responsibility for what happens in your life an amazing thing happens; feelings of powerlessness disappear and thoughts of being a victim of circumstances fade away.
Chicken or egg? Some believe that people with a positive attitude have it because their life is somehow better than everyone else’s. That’s the opposite of the truth. A good attitude creates a great life and I am convinced from personal experience that a negative attitude can only bring negative circumstances. Bad decisions brought about by a self-defeating attitude result in negative circumstances.
Develop a belief that it’s all up to you. Bad things happen to everybody and in the end it’s our reaction and actions that dictate the outcome. I didn’t always think this way, and to be honest there are still days that I slip, but since I took a leap of faith and adopted this way of thinking my life has changed in more ways than I could imagine. There’s too much proof to ignore. It really is all in our heads! Chuck Vosburgh has more than 30 years of experience as a commercial photographer and author of How to Sell Photography Without Sounding Like a Salesman. Bruce Hardin Hi, my name is Bruce Hardin. At age 12, my grandmother gifted me a Kodak camera with 110 film. It was a simple gift but had a life-long impression on me that led to my passion and life commitment to this artform. I understand that being in front of a camera can often feel intimidating and overwhelming. I take pride in being an easy going, compassionate and light-hearted person to bring ease to people before they step in front of my camera, during and after. Balancing professionalism with a safe, relaxed environment, is my philosophy to collaboratively create superior and creative work whether at a large event with hundreds of guests, or when working one-to-one.

Win Wolloff My name is Win Wolloff and I view the world through eyes that have seen a lot. I have been a news photographer, wedding photographer, portrait photographer, and for more than 40 years the owner of my own commercial photo studio. I have worked in the motorcycle industry, as a ski instructor, musician, animal handler, and for the past 20 or so years as a teacher. As I enter my seventh decade I find myself working to create images using the tools that changed my professional life. The computer and Giclee printer have opened avenues of expression that allow me to express my vision in ways that I could never even have contemplated at the beginning of my career. I love making beautiful images of the world in which I have lived and enjoyed.
I hold the degrees of Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman from The Professional Photographers of America and was among the first to become a Certified Professional Photographer taking the test when it was offered at the NE convention so long ago I can’t remember the date. I spent the last 20 or so years as an adjunct instructor at The International Academy of Design and Technology teaching imaging software as well as lighting courses for both portrait and commercial students. I was instrumental in hiring most of the staff and writing much of the course of study (with the other members of the board)
