Art Deco • It is a visual arts design style that first appeared in France after World War I and began flourishing internationally in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. • Simple, clean shapes with streamlined look; rich colours, bold geometric shapes and lavish ornamentation. • Sleek and anti traditional elegance that symbolized wealth and sophistication.

Art Nouveau • Art Nouveau was a movement that swept through the decorative arts and architecture in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. • It was inspired by natural forms and structures, not only in flowers and plants, but also in curved lines. Architects tried to harmonize with the natural environment.
