What people regret on their deathbeds Being the most scary part of life, death is also inevitable. Even though people do not think about this in their lives, but they often end up thinking a bit too much about their lives when they are about to die. There are many unfulfilled wishes, many acts of wrong and much more. In this article, the most common four life regrets that people share on their deathbeds are discussed.

1. They wish they had lived a life true to themselves and not others The most common regret among people on their deathbeds is to have had a life in which they were true to themselves. When people see that their life is almost over, they start to realize how much better it could have been if they’d made certain other decisions in their life. Hence, it is very important to consider at least some if not all of your dreams along your lifespan.

2. They wish they had worked less harder Most workaholics would come to have this regret on their deathbeds. These people usually miss their child’s first football game and their fifth, seventh and a few other consecutive marriage anniversaries only because they were attending work. Realize that work is important, but sometimes the people around you require your companionship more than the money you make. If you actually simplify your lifestyle and make a few conscious choices along the way, you will end up creating more space in life and hence, living much happier.

3. They wish they had expressed themselves before There are many feelings that people suppress in their lives and then regret them in the end. They might even develop illnesses as a result to the resentment that they had carried all their lives. We cannot control how others might react; however, expressing yourself truthfully might upset other people at first, it does take the relationship to a much healthier level eventually. Hence, there will be a win-win situation in the end.

4. They wish they had not stopped meeting old friends Often, people fail to truly actualize the benefits of having true friends. When they are dying, they actually wish if they had stayed in touch and consoled them in the last hours of their lives. Every person misses their friends on the deathbed. It is very common to let friends go in a busy lifestyle, but it is important to retain the close ones for difficult times.
