Every single one of our products has always epitomised the essence of who we are: essential and discrete shapes and excellent performance in recognizable designs that are within everyone’s reach. Beauty, functionality and simplicity.
Is our raw material, an essential tool and the result of our work. It is an intangible and magical element that designs shapes and animates spaces. To us its language is technical refinement, scientific precision as well as sentiments, atmospheres and the possibility to adorn every place with emotions.

The Targetti Light Art Collection was created with this idea in mind, to use light as a means of expression; light interpreted by the sensitivity of the artists.
Places for dialogue and sharing there are four Targetti HUBs around the world: TH01 at the Headquarters in Florence, TH02 in Shanghai, TH03 in Paris and TH04 in Changzhou. They express our ideas and values. They are the expression of our desire to meet our partners, lighting designers, architects and interior designers in a place that really represents us. One word is not sufficient to describe them: they are laboratories, showrooms, meeting and event locations and dynamic and evolving environments that are open to dialogue and discussion with our partners and customers.
Targetti Light Art Collection is a collection of contemporary works of art, more than 40 “light pictures�, commissioned from young artists who are now among the most important on the international scene.

A complete range of products for indoor lighting, constantly updated to provide architects, designers and lighting designers ideal solutions and tools that are capable of enhancing every architectural context. Light for retail environments, places of worship, museums, workplaces and the hospitality industry.
Creating an ad hoc light fixture for a specific project is a challenge, a fundamental stimulus that feeds our creative energies. Despite the wide and extensive variety of products on offer it is not always simple to find a product that meets the many variables involved in a complex project. We work alongside our partners, we share the journey in all project phases, we design custom made products and we help them to produce them. Our technical department studies solutions that adapt to space, design, colours and dimensions. Solutions that can be an integral part of an environment and meet everchanging lighting needs.
Outdoor lighting The variety of solutions on offer makes Targetti the ideal partner for every urban lighting project: from the redevelopment of large public spaces to highlighting monuments, historical buildings and places of worship as well as modern office complexes. The architecture is always centre stage.

1997 Introduction of CCT, the first range of fixtures for compact florescent lamps with optics designed with proprietary software in the laboratory of the University of Florence at Targetti.

1928 Sankey Targetti started out with a small shop selling lamps and electrical items.
1937
2000 Development of the first LED STRIP lights for the US market. Introduction of the CCT FLASH family, first of its kind in Europe, specifically developed for new compact fluorescent lamps that introduced an innovative “scratch proof” protection system on Targetti optics.
1937 Targetti started producing light fixtures ( chandeliers, appliques and table lamps ) and soon became a small industry. 1959 Inauguration of the industrial complex on the outskirts of Florence, still the Targetti Headquarters today. 1972 BITRACK: the first electrified track in Europe entirely made in extruded plastic; packed together with its spotlights for “self service” installation, it introduced directional light into homes. 1972
1975 The family of technical fixtures ALTALITE is created, together with ALTALAMP, a division producing and selling technical and decorative lamps. ALTALITE “Quasar” is introduced, a range of technical lighting fixtures with traditional and halogen lamps for line or low voltage.

2006 Introduction of LUCE VIVA, first collection specialized in LED products for indoor and outdoor architectural lighting with RGB and CTC technology controlled by DMX signals.
2012 CCT LED Downlight, Innovative range of recessed LED lighting fixtures with highly efficiency and modular, patented LED optics.

2017 The 3F Filippi — Targetti, group was created, an Italian group that is present all over the world.
1988 Targetti became the first group in Italy for the production of lamps and lighting systems with dealers all over the world.
2018 The launch of the Dynamic Beam Shaper, the innovative optical system based on the use of liquid crystal lenses to control light beams.
1996 Targetti wins the Golden Compass with its Mondial F1 projector, an innovative modular fixture in the world of lighting design.

2016 Introduction of the patented HYBRID optics, high precision and efficient optic to equip most sophisticated products of the range.
1987 Agreement with the University of Florence to develop a photometric laboratory in Targetti, the first of its kind in Italy and amongst the first in Europe.
1993 Creation of LIGHT OF FLORENCE, world’s first product collection specifically dedicated to the illumination of historical buildings and places of worship.

2014 Following a long tradition in optic innovation, KEPLERO ZOOM is invented: unique LED ingrade with patented adjustable optic system.

1986 PULSAR, the first range of specialized projectors for discharge lamps (HQI 150W) for indoor use. Production and distribution of the first dichroic filter (UV, IR, Chromatic, etc).

2010 Creation of the first modulated light LED lighting products.

1979 The creation of STRUCTURA, the first and most imitated totally self-supporting lighting system. A three-dimensional flexible assembly makes possible the positioning of projectors and integrated lighting modules on any of its points, regardless of the environment to be lit.

2004 LIGHT NAVIGATOR, the first fluorescent RGB wireless control system capable of driving multiple fixtures via radio waves (designed in collaboration with the University of Florence).
