Here is some important information for External Hauliers. Downloading the PODFather App in Android

Downloading the PODFather App in iOS

Open the Google Play Store on your Android device. You will need Android 4.4 or above to download the required app

Open the App Store on your iOS device. You will need iOS 10 or above to download the required app

Search for PODFather

Search for PODFather

Press on the icon

Select GET

Press install The app will start to download

Then press install The app will start to download


Paper tickets will be turned off by the end of 2018. You will continue to get a paper ticket and need to capture the customer signature on this until paper tickets are discontinued later this year, after which you will capture the Customer signature on glass. You will need to interact with your application at key points in your delivery process by pressing the buttons at the correct time - just follow the on-screen instructions. Please follow the steps below to start using your application. More details on how to log in and use your application can be found in the ePOD User Guide which is available at the plant. 1. Download the application 2. Select the PODFather icon 3. Log in: Username = Registration number (no spaces) Password = Registration number (no spaces) Driver Name = Please enter your full name

4. Complete your vehicle checks or confirm these have been done 5. Jobs can now be received on your application, press the job when it appears to commence 6. Follow the on-screen instructions 7. Log out at the end of your shift

There may be circumstances under which you see old jobs appearing when they first log in. If this happens, do not be alarmed and ensure you select the correct job for your delivery - the old jobs will disappear from your application automatically after a few days. If you do not receive your ticket within a minute or so, you can press the icon and select “Communicate” from the list that appears. As long as the ticket has been fully processed by the Weighbridge or Batch Cabin then this should force the information through to your application. You will also notice in this list that you can raise an Incident Report, just select the appropriate option and you can use your application to take photos of the incident also. It is important that the buttons are pressed at the correct time (i.e when you are loaded and ready to leave our plant or when you arrive on a Customer’s site). Doing this will ensure that you are paid promptly for each of your loads. Pressing all of the buttons at once after the job has finished will risk that ticket getting held up and this could potentially delay your payment in respect of that load. With immediate effect we request that you please do not complete Handlay unless this has been pre-booked by the customer and appears on your ticket. If you require further clarification on this then please contact your Transport Account Manager.
